I was going to tell my story but mine seems really bad now ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) DD broke her wrist but I didn't take her to A and E (ER) for 24 hours because I didn't believe it was that bad. I'll leave now ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) That's nothing, I broke my collar bone when I was in junior high and my parents didn't believe me. It was NINE days before they took me to the doctor....and then they made me lie and say it happened 7 days ago because something about their insurance. I still love to use that one against my mom. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) I swear wear I earn the bad mom award daily...I haven't earned it yet today but I still have a few hours to go ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

This happened a few years back, my boys were teens. Younger ds comes down and says he hurt his foot, I as how - turns out kicking his brother! It's a little puffy, figure it will bruise, ask did you miss and kick something else like a wall, chair, etc. No he says! He's limping a touch that evening, but seems ok after. Says occasionally it's sore still, BUT goes to basketball practice a few days later. I get there early to pick up and he's having a good time, still playing, not wanting to leave. Next day complains it sore, I tell him he overdid. So we're a good (cringe) almost 2 weeks into it and he has a basketball game and I can see him after about half the game really favoring it and think enough we're heading straight in to get it x-rayed. Imagine the horror when the nurse confirms he's been walking around on it for almost 2 weeks because yes it's fractured. I'm surprised they didn't call children's services...neglectful mom brings kid in with 2 week old fracture from kicking his brother - please investigate. ![(:))](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/ninja.png)

Years ago, while visiting friends, my youngest son asked why his older brother always got the green cup. I was so tired of them arguing over everything including who liked the color green first. When DS asked me that, I said, "Cause we love him more". And of course my youngest ran out of the room, crying. I would have done that too, if I were him. Mean, mean mom. So if that did not scar him, making him and his brother ride Alien Encounters at WDW surely did it.

When my youngest lost his first tooth I put my dh in charge of being the Tooth Fairy. Well, he apparently started to forget as our son got older and he had about 4 teeth that the Tooth Fairy never picked up!

And you call yourself a scrapbooker?!?!?! Just as well your son is such a cutie!
When my DS was in kinder (which is the same as your pre-K) my partner was a SAHD. On the day that they had their class photos, DSO dressed DS in the ugliest, daggiest, dark green Ben 10 tracksuit. Seriously the worst item in DS's wardrobe. I came to 2 Peas bitching about how annoyed I was with DSO for not dressing DS in nicer clothes for photo day. I was very quickly put in my place by a number of Peas! Hang on, maybe I should have posted this on the "first hand slap" thread!!

Today was a holiday here. This morning I went through all ds's drawers because he has grown a ton. I made burgers, pasta salad and mopped the main floor. DD - 14 was going to Parliament Hill for the day supposed to be home at 11. Ds and Dh went golfing and were supposed to be home around nine. DD was home by 5:30 and DH and Ds by 6:30 because of weather and I am really really grumpy about it. I just wanted a few hours alone in my craft room. I have a small 19 inch tv in there. We have a 60 inch and a 42 inch in the rest of the house but where is everybody - all piled in my craft room, so much for peace and solitude. I feel terrible that I am so cranky about it.

A friend of mine still teases me about the time when I said to my ds "No, you can't have a pudding cup until you finish your poptart." A woman after my own heart!! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) I'm just glad I'm not the only one who says things like this!

I'm not technically a mom but my nephews (and my sister) have lived with me since the boys were babies and I have been helping her raise them so I'm the back up mom. Anyhow the thing that comes to mind to me is when my oldest nephew was potty training we had those seats you put right on the toilet. Well one day someone forgot to put it on the toilet. I hear him shrieking so I run in and see him in the toilet with his head, arms and legs sticking out. I laughed so hard I couldn't help him out. He had to struggle out on his own I just couldn't stop laughing.
