Hi all! Was wondering if any of you had ever tried the Chameleon markers. Had an ad in my e-mail for them and they looked interesting. Very similar to copics but according to ad they can do more blending. Don't know if they are a new product. Just new to me. Thx

I tried them at CHA and just couldn't get them to work right. Although, I've been Copic certified for like 5 years now and use them pretty much exclusively for alcohol markers. They look cool, but I think it's going to be hard to get a consistent blend if you want to touch anything up, or color two apples next to each other, because it's just kinda guessing how much of their toner you put on the marker to get the light color.
It looks like they will be hitting distributors mid-November so I will be getting a few of their packs in my store, but I'm just not sold on them myself.

I got my box yesterday, but haven't opened them. It sounds like they are not good for you if you have any experience with markers already. I hope to try them this weekend, but I have zero experience. It might be awful, but that might have something to do with my lack of knowledge. There is another thread where someone asked me to post my experience. I'll do that after this weekend.

I saw a video of them once, but have not seen them anywhere to purchase. Do you know if they work with other alcohol ink markers. I have MANY copics and am not interested in changing, but always look to add something new.

Good point Lisa on the guess work involved on shading. Watched video and it made them look wonderful! I can tell you their customer service is very good. I submitted a question and received an answer a few hrs later. Asked how much ink came in them and she said 3.25 ml and you also fill with 3.25 ml of blending solution. Refills are 25ml and should refill 8-10 times. They do work with other alcohol markers. I might just try a small pack for grins and giggles and wait to dive in full force after I learn more how "easy" they really are. I don't have that many copics or spectrum noirs but enjoy using them. Garcia5050 pls let us know how you like them!

These seem interesting. I saw them on the instagram account of the Some Odd Girl owner but that is all I have really seen. They seem interesting but I have Copics so will probably stick with that.
