Tell me about them? Do you love/hate them? Or totally over them? How do you use them and what type of projects?

I have a few of them, I love the shimmer they provide but for most of what I use them for I use mists from other manuf. I use on cards, layouts, color stuff like wood veeners, flowers, etc.

I only have one glimmer mist. but I love how much it shimmers. I do find that I do not use it as much as I could because of the mess and dry time. I am so inpatient. LOL When I have used it I tend to use it to cover a background for a card or layout. I have seen Shimelle use it as a paint with brush and I have a friend who uses it like water when making crinkle paper flowers.

I love them. I have about a dozen of them. I just hate how the nozzle gets clogged and sprays everywhere or not at all. I use them to add a shimmer to chipboard, flowers, card stock, patterned paper, etc.

I have TONS of them. I just bought 10 bottles of the Prima sprays to try them out and see how they compare to the other brands. I love to spray canvas album covers with them. spray paper flowers and fabric flowers. some brands dry better than others. Maya Road had some sprays and I didn't like them much. they never dried completely and the color would come off on your hands even days later. I like the Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists but they blob up. The Heidi Swapp ones are pretty good. I also like the Ranger brand of shimmer sprays.

I hate the warping of the paper or cardstock that results from using them. Since I use paper & cardstock more than anything else, I usually don't think to get them out.

I don't use them as much as I should.

The Glimmer Mists are a pain - the sprayers are terrible. I am using them up with paint brushes as a watercolor or splattering them. The cardstock warping doesn't bother me in the least. They flatten out in the protectors.
I use Color Shine when I want to spray. No problem with clogging. I do have a few other brands here and there. Overall, I don't mist that often any more but it's fun when I do!

I don't use them as a spray the way you're supposed to. I undo the top and tap the liquid onto my layouts. Learned that thanks to Glitter Girl.

I bought some but, believe it or not, I just keep forgetting to use them on my layout. I'll be scrapping all this weekend, so thanks for the reminder.

I only have two Glimmer Mists but I have many, many, many other mists by various manufacters. I like Mister Huey's and Lindy's Stamp Gang a lot. I also like Heidi Swapp. Her Gold Lame is AMAZING!

I like them for dying seam binding. Spray it in the ranger mat, swish the ribbon around, and dry with a heat gun. You can make them lighter or darker, and they are great for tags and gift wrapping.

I'm going to have to try that next time. Like others, the drying time & the warping are turnoffs for me. I love the way the Mr. Huey's white looks on kraft. I own 3-4 of the Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists and my problem is that I can't seem to find a cs that they show up on. Yes, the glimmer is there, but it's very faint. And the color is almost non-existent. I've tried dark colors & lighter colors and it just doesn't seem to matter. After pulling out my spray box, trying to get a pattern that I like and waiting for it to dry, it's frustrating that I can barely see the results. I use them once in a while so I don't feel like I'm wasting my money, but I must confess I'm not a fan.
