If you spend 4-6 hours on your project, take an extra 10 points for the finished item.
If you spend 7+ hours on your project, take an extra 15 points for the finished item.
AND:
Give yourself an additional 2 point for working toward learning a new craft, new technique (can be scrapbook/card making related), etc. Motivation to learn new things is always good.

I haven’t quite gotten the ends woven in but I finished my first crocheted granny square blanket! I got a gorgeous new crochet hook yesterday and finished off the shell border last night. http://instagram.com/p/B9SV1LpAt8j Can I double check the points grammadee - the time spent for the finished item is the total time it took to make, shorthand for how big a project it was? So the blanket took me 40+ hours over 2 months so that would be 15 bonus points for finishing it? Not just the time I spent this month. I did about 2 hours on it this month + sharing + finishing so 20 + 1 + 15 = 36 points + 2 points for learning how to do the edging. Is that right?

joblackford, I didn't originate the challenge, only copied and pasted LisaDV's original challenge. But I think b/c you only finish it ONCE, you claim that full bonus when you finish it! So that calculating sounds good to me.

okay - I made 43 masks so far. 25 during the crop and 18 afterwards. they take about 20 minutes each Is the set of 43 a project or is each mask a project? I'm totally confused on how to count these. Help grammadeeI'm thinking 8 hours during crop (so 80 pts plus crop bonus = 160pts) plus 6 hrs after crop (so 60pts) not sure if I get the 15pts for finishing or not? I do plan to make more masks this month.

Sounds right for counting, Linda. Claim your 15 points at the end when you are done for the month?

I keep meaning to take a photo of my new granny stripe blanket but I usually work on it after dinner when it’s dark... but I did find a photo I took a little while ago. The yarn is the leftovers (plus of course I bought more) from the other blanket I did. It changes color randomly, so I think the stripe format looks better than the squares that end up with random color changes inside them. http://instagram.com/p/B95D1SRAJzy

That yarn is really pretty, joblackford, and you are doing an awesome job of that striped blanket!

Here's my 'other craft' I finished at the beginning of the month. I tried one of the Diamond Dotz kits. I'm completely hooked and now working on a giant sunflower one.
