She was not my candidate but I truly believe that if she was a man she’d still be in this. I agree. I'm more bummed about it today than yesterday after watching pundits. I'm getting old and I might never see a woman as president and it makes me sad.

I'm sad about this news. She was my candidate and she would have been a great president. I agree with many of you that the choice of VP might actually sway voters in favor of a particular candidate this time.

Going into the race, I didn't have a positive impression of Elizabeth Warren. I didn't want her as the nominee because I didn't and still don't believe she could have won enough states. After watching the first couple of debates, I came away far more impressed with her. She is a very young 70. I wish I had that much energy! She's smart, articulate, and thinks well on her feet. While I didn't agree with many of her positions, I was won over as an admirer. I hope she will have a place in the next administration or a higher standing in the Senate. She would make an excellent Democratic majority leader.

I'm going to write down this prediction and put it in an envelope: by the convention in July, Barr will have opened a full investigation into Biden/Burisma, and when the Senate recovenes in the fall, they'll have a series of televised hearings about it. Heck, they'll re-open the Benghazi hearings and cast Biden as the bad guy this time. The FBI will get involved and open another investigation in late October. And it won't matter how many hours of questioning Biden undergoes - all of the right and most moderates will assume he's corrupt and say they "can't" vote for him. I wouldn’t be surprised at all. First, what’s the purpose of DOJ (Barr) setting up a back channel/intake process for Giuliani’s info feed on Ukraine and Burisma? Because the DOJ has nothing better to do? No, of course not. It’s to build a case against Biden. Second, Sen Johnson has already said Biden has not adequately answered questions about Ukraine. Is he floating the idea that Senate GOP should haul him in for questioning? Most likely. Third, the conservative group Judicial Watch was able to get a judge to depose Hillary over guess what? Benghazi. This was just three days ago. 4. Trump has already indicated (when asked yesterday) that he will he bringing ip Burisma and Biden all the time.

She was my favorite and I feel like she was overlooked. So smart, warm, and such a good communicator. She would be a wonderful president. It really bugged me last week when a friend of mine said he didn't like her because she came across as "crazy." Wtf? I didn't get that vibe from her at all.
I was hoping we'd have a female president this time around. Thankfully I really do like Joe Biden and think he'll be a good president, but he's not who I think should have risen to the top of this group of candidates.

We could have had this brilliant woman as POTUS.
But Americans aren't smart enough for that yet. They swallow whole the guff about Liz while voting for Trump. America.
Here's hoping the younger generations get another shot at another smart, funny, caring woman like Liz.
