Kyle Griffin..
”Breaking via NYT: Elizabeth Warren plans to drop out of the presidential race on Thursday and will inform her staff of her plans later this morning, according to a person close to her.”
Not a fan, but would have felt a bit better voting for her as opposed to the other two Biden & Sanders.
But I will vote on Election Day .

Yeah, I think I'm going to need another day to be angry about this. She would have been an excellent president. But hey, the old white guys make us feel safe, so let's stick with them.

This makes me mad and sad. I knew it was inevitable though. Will we ever be able to make America great again? Can the Dems get back control of the Senate in 2020 or 2022 ? I think that’s our only hope. God Bless America

I knew it was coming but I'm so sad. She was my candidate. I thought given the chance she could bridge the factions, she's so qualified and pragmatic. Ugh. I have no confidence that the two left can win. Yes, I'll vote blue no matter who.

So disappointing... I'm a "yellow dog Democrat" - I'll vote for the Democratic nominee -- but I'm damned if I'm happy about the choice between two old white men. Biden had better tap Elizabeth as Veep .....

Biden had better tap Elizabeth as Veep ..... I won’t be surprised at all if Biden picks a woman for VP, but I doubt if it would be Warren. I think it’s more likely to be Kamala Harris or someone else. Klobuchar is a possibility, but she seems like a very valuable member of the Senate for the Dems.

When after Tuesday's elections, and she didn't even win her own state--then she said she was re-evaulating--this doesn't come as a shock.

Great. Now we have the choice between three septuagenarians. I'm so happy about that.
Blech.
I hope Biden doesn't select Klobuchar as his VP choice. Like others have said, she needs to be in the senate. I'm hoping for Kamala Harris.
Warren was not my candidate. My favorite was a toss up between Buttigeig and Klobuchar. I would have been happy with either one of them. This is just a strange position for me to even be in because I have typically voted for Republican presidents (not Trump! LOL) I do not consider myself a liberal, though on some issues (like LGBTQ rights), I am about as liberal as you can be. I am just a weird mixture. I took that quiz yesterday that someone posted, and I ended up in the far right top corner of the blue area. LOL So for me, a more moderate candidate is who I want. I really had high hopes for Buttigeig and Klobuchar and am still disappointed they are out. So Merge, I totally get your angst right now about Warren being out.
Even though I am disappointed in what we are stuck with, I will vote for whoever the Democratic candidate ends up being because I truly believe the most important thing right now is to get Trump OUT. I think of the shit he has done when he is up for reelection, and I can't even imagine what he will do with a second term when he is not.
It's going to be a very interesting few months ahead.

Dammit. One of those old white guys better pick her for VP. I can see Sanders choosing her as VP, but Biden...I dunno. Since their ideas are so different, that seems like a weird combination to me. But who the hell knows. Maybe Biden having her as his running mate would encourage Sanders supporters to back Biden if he ends up being the candidate.

I'll vote blue, no matter who, but isn't it just a bit tired to be choosing between old white men again?

Neither Buttigeig nor Klobuchar has done the hard work of fighting the Trump agenda like Warren has. Sorry, I don't see that loss the same way. They're also young and have plenty of time to bounce back. This is a major blow and insult to women in this country, IMO, whether y'all see it that way or not. We all went out and marched in January 2017, and now three years later we're lining up behind old, white men like good little sheep. It makes me physically ill.

Biden had better tap Elizabeth as Veep ..... I've been hearing rumors about Biden choosing Michelle Obama as his VP. Seems like it would be what he wants--a woman of color. We'll see what comes of the rumors in the coming weeks, but I think that it would secure his place.

Sanders is my senator but I had chosen Warren over him with my primary vote because she just had more solid thought out plans and I believe we neeeeeeeed more women at every level in leadership. I'll vote for either Biden or Sanders, though, as I seem to lean even more liberal than Sanders, he's who I hope gets the nomination at this point. Then again, it wouldn't be terrible to keep Sanders in the Senate and have Biden for president. I know there are many who feel that Biden is more electable. At this point I'm thinking those of us who've done our Primary voting may want to turn our attention to Senatorial races and other down ticket elections. I'm going to have to absentee ballot the August Primary for those elections.

She was my candidate and I'm deeply disappointed. It's 2020 and we know we're getting an old white (or orange) guy.
I'd spitball that Biden might tap Kamala Harris or Stacy Abrams for VP. If he chooses a white dude, expect to see reports of a tiny, woman sized volcano going off somewhere in MD.
I just ate a sleeve of Dosido Girl Scout cookies which is far less destructive than I'm feeling. I have to work tonight or I'd be mixing up some Painkiller cocktails.

I’m telling y’all, if Biden wants to win and solidify his standing with the black electorate, no matter what state it is, Stacey Abrams as his running mate will do it. She’s popular and she has the progressive creds Biden doesn’t have. Short of Oprah, she’s the gal suburban women will be attracted to and the kind of person working people can relate to. Remember, her loss to Kemp was very narrow. In Georgia!
