My daughter and two of her friends and their moms just canceled our trip to NYC for Spring Break. The grandmother of one of the girls was coming in to spend a day or two with us and see Hamilton. Now the grandmother doesn't want to go to the theater and the girl and her mom don't want to leave grandma in the hotel by herself. I am so sad, because I would have made the trip with my daughter, but now they want to reschedule for summer and my daughter doesn't want to go during Spring Break without them if the group is rescheduling for later. =(

I wouldn't cancel. I'm in NY... business as usual in the city. Just use extra precautions as far as wiping down surfaces, handwashing, etc.

All Las Vegas public schools (Clark County School District) out of state/out of country trips were cancelled yesterday, effective immediately.
I have a cruise booked with 23 friends and family over Spring Break. We're not cancelling yet, but I won't hesitate to cancel if I'm the least bit concerned as we get closer to the departure date. I'm especially watching if additional cruise ships go under quarantine.
Trump Administration has failed us! They knew this was coming! Such incompetence. Such disgust. We still can't get an accurate count of cases due to lack of testing.

In 6 weeks, my 15yo dd's are supposed to be traveling with some other classmates to a national competition being held in Nashville. They'll be going unless it's recommended by the CDC or WHO that they don't.

I would cancel.
I live in NY - Eastern Long Island. Lots of testing & quarantines going on around the city. One person who tested positive traveled on the Long Island Railroad and the Subway. They are now wiping down the subway turnstiles and Long Island Railroad cars.
The latest cruise ship I heard of being quarantined is the Grand Princess. Being held offshore of California. Lots of cruise lines are allowing cancellations thru July or August with a full credit to rebook anytime during 2021
