Amazon can be SO frustrating! The prices constantly change! I ordered a four pack in September for under $14.00. Now they are selling it at $38.00! I'll have to see if Hobby Lobby might be selling refills. I think Michaels stopped. The X? I bought 5 last year buy online pick up at the store they had a %40 my cart at the time. However, I’m not entirely as fond of them as I used to be. I’m convince that xyron changed their formula while I was away from scrapping. I’ve had a couple of occasions where the adhesive stayed on the wax paper rather than my item. My newest refill seems to be doing better though ETA they still have them and there is a %20 off entire online basket right now Do you rub your item before you remove the clear sheet? That’s what I do to make sure the adhesive sticks onto my item instead of peeling off. |

I rub the top over (the plastic ) , then flip it over and more vigorously rub the bottom the (the wax paper) then i go around it all with a stylus. |

I love my xyron's! I have every size ! I got one waaaaay back when the first came out (the old style 850) and still have that along with the laminate cartridge that I think I only used a handful of times! I have one refill for that machine and I have been hesitant to use it cause I don't think they make the refills for that model anymore! I use my X and 5" one the most. I also have the 950 and the 3 inch one. I use the bigger ones when I scrapbook and the smaller ones for card making.
