I've known the same SU demonstrator for a long time, and I order from her pretty regularly, usually when there's a sale. Recently she had a class where she showed us the two Sale-A-Bration catalogs for this year. One came out in January and they released a second surprise one that started in March. I was non committal until I got home and thought about one of the free sets, if you spent $100 you get these stamps. Which then led me down the Youtube rabbit hole. But then I needed to find $100 worth of stuff, which brought me to this floral set. I thought I was done, but in the suggested videos while I was watching I saw a link for this journal and I had to have the bird stamp set too. Which meant another free stamp set so this Meerkat stamp set ended up heading my way too. This was my largest order from her ever, and what I realized is that's because, IMO, SU really outdid themselves with this year's offerings. They can sometimes be a hit or miss for me but I can usually find a few things to place an order. This time around I had to restrain myself!!! Anyone else indulge this year?

I really wanted the bee stamps, but did not order them, due to shipping. Shipping was almost as much as the stamp set!

Isn't that interesting? Maybe it's just because I'm being slightly more stingy with my crafting purchases this year, but I haven't partaken in Sale-A-Bration yet. I just couldn't find anything to make me pull the trigger. I'm glad you did though. I think it was two years ago that I was you. I hadn't looked at SU for a while and somehow came across the Sale-A-Bration catalog and just couldn't stop! It got me back into papercrafting. It started me on Paper Pumpkin and I haven't missed a month since.

As a demo I'm slightly ashamed to admit I haven't bought any stamps or paper or anything from SU (only my stamparatus and its accessories) for a long time. I have a pretty good customer who keeps me active, luckily. I did earn for Sale a Bration so I'll be getting something for that.

Thanks a lot, scrappyesq - I followed you straight down the rabbit hole! LOL I'm supposed to be restraining my spending because of covid-19 economic uncertainty - SU is not making it easy!

I wish shipping didn't take so long, because this weekend would be perfect to play with some new goodies. SU is the worst (believe me I know this is a first world complaint).

Another who LEAPT into the rabbit hole. D@*! I KNEW I shouldn’t have entered this thread. I’m out $55.20. All for a pack of water lilies paper. The very last thing I need is more paper. But you know, a trip to Paris, pics of Monet’s paintings, just demand water lilies paper. Please don’t tell the frozen/chilled peas.

(They are truly killing me with the shipping. Still no box)

I really like SU's Sale-a-bration offerings this year, too. I picked up a few things for myself and plan to make some cards with them today. The Meerkat set is so darn cute I'll be using that one, for sure.

I’m meh on the SAB offerings but there are several things in the mini catalog that I like. I’m kinda getting into DSP so have chosen 2 packs for my freebies. I’m tempted to place another order because I still haven’t ordered the poppies stamps!

I love stampin up. I really do. I am a very "matchy-matchy" person in my papercrafting world, so SU is great for me. Not great for my wallet!

When my friend was holding monthly card classes, I was buying lots of SU! stuff. But haven't picked any up for awhile now. I really like the Rise & Shine set, and while I know it would be easy to spend $100 on other products, there wasn't really anything else that drew me in. Thinking I might be able to recreate the look with a couple of different dies I have and pp, plus a circle die. Haven't tried it yet. Love the meercats, though!

99% of my stamping supplies come from SU. I ordered several hundred dollars of products from the last holiday catalog and quite a bit from the spring one. My shopping list from the new annual catalog is close to $600. I love the style and design of their stamps, and the coordinating inks and papers. I want to shop at one place that has a limited amount of product. Browsing through sites like Simon Says Stamp makes me crazy. Too much stuff, too many companies.

When my neighbor was a consultant, I ordered a little bit each month. Sometimes more than a little! LOL She is the hostess of our Card Club for the past 12 years and was so happy to lend stamps and inks to other members. We had so much fun with the things she ordered too. She has recently decided to stop selling, so I don't have a consultant anymore. It has been great for my budget, but I do miss seeing all those pretty things.

I want a Stamparatus, but every SU I find just wants me to order on their web site. I have a lot of money I saved up to go to EXPO, that I want to spend on the Stamparatus, I don't want to use my card.

Or you can purchase a Visa gift card, I know it cost about $5 to activate but this way your credit card is safe. I'm in AZ if you are here I'm happy to help.

The new catalog is great, so many options. I already have spent $300. I'm actually pretty picky about what I buy now, so spending this amount was quite crazy for me. and...I still have things on my list to buy still!
