I work with kids, primarily 3-5. Personal space is not a luxury I have. I laugh at the thought of keeping them 6 feet apart, especially in our classroom. That is just not possible in any school situation.

I work in an office and probably have 20+ customers at my desk a day. I always have my Purell bottle front and center and a lot of the customers are using it more now.

I co-own an exceptionally busy personal income tax company. We are absolutely in the busiest time of our year and my office is constantly busy with people coming and going. Not sure what's going to happen. We have 9 employees. This is such uncharted territory that my partner and I have no clue how to handle it.

Right now is my work at home season. Fall will be my face to face season. Before this, I was in retail. When I was on cashier duty, I kept hand sanitizer on me and used it after any cash transactions because my mom was going through chemo and I was helping her and Dad out. It's a habit I developed and still do it.
DH wonders why I don't get sick like him.

I’m a teacher. I answered NO because I know my kids. I don’t come in contact with many “strangers“. But man… I come in contact with a lot of snot and spit and boogers and God knows what else…

Yes. I work at a bank in an area where the age of about 80% of our clients is probably between 70-85 years old. I adore our clients, absolutely love the seniors that come in and am not looking to things getting worse. Hoping mankind truly starts to stay home to help stop the spread. B.C. Alberta and Quebec are taking a firmer stance (banning gatherings of 250 or more, wanting people that travel beyond Canada to self quarantine for 2 weeks) so hopefully that helps. I have an immune compromised child and I’m even scared to go to the grocery store tomorrow and bring this virus home.

My daughter works at dollar general so she sees a ton of unknown people. My son works at a car dealership so he works with the public, but not as many people per day as my daughter.

I've moved my business to online only for now and judging by the looks of things there will be a baby boom for sure in December.
DH works at children's hospital. I'm not enthused about what he might be bringing home.

yes and no.. I work in the medical field in one of the state prisons. I have my own office away from most people. I have been trying to keep in there as much as possible. If I have to go to the clinic, there is already icky icky junk going on so I try not to touch anything and stay away from the offenders. They are unlikely to catch anything though. Visits have been suspended. Any non-employee (contract workers, volunteers) are not allowed in anymore. So unless an offender has been overseas lately.. lol or one of us comes in with it and gives it to them, we are pretty 'safe' here.. (but it only takes one person..) one person has been tested with negative results.. so yea..

I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner. I divide my time between a specialty clinic and a large hospital (over 1,000 beds). Those of us working in the medical field accept the risk of exposure to much more dangerous diseases than this. Black humor is a survivor skill in this field. In other words, yes, we’re making a lot of fun of many of you just to get a little chuckle. There are lines of people who think they have “The Virus” & lots of folks who were assaulted while shopping for tp... 🙄. Go home & hug your loved ones. And for heaven’s sake use your common sense & keep your sense of humor.

My Monday volunteer job is at a large food pantry. I enter the data on all clients so it is "somewhat contact." We have about 50 clients each Monday. My "one Friday per month" is receptionist at the police department. It can be very busy or very slow.
I checked "other" in the response.

Yup, public librarian here. Schools, Senior Center, and other departments are closed, but we are open for business as usual (except programs and meetings are canceled). Should be fun when Monday rolls around and parents try to drop their kids off for free daycare. 🙄
