It's one thing to resell at a slight profit. Another altogether when you are price gouging. I have zero sympathy for this guy in his attempt to "put his family in a really good place financially".

Sickening. He could mark them up a dollar and still make $17,000. No need to sell them for $100 a bottle or something crazy. And all those other examples of stockpiling to profit is disgusting.

I really don't get why he can't just put an ad on Craigslist and sell it at his cost if he's banned from Amazon?
He makes it sound like he's "stuck with it" when he is just frustrated in his attempt to make huge profits in a time of crisis.

Yes. I wouldn't be especially upset if he bought it at $2 and sold it at $3. There is increased demand and so some increase is OK. But the guy buing the face masks for $10 and reselling for $125 deserves a special place in hell. |

I read about this man in the NYT today and was disgusted. I wish he wasn't getting all this publicity. I'm afraid desperate people will contact him and offer to buy hand sanitizer from him for ridiculous prices.

The article says he purchased 2000 kits of face masks and sanitizer for $3.50 each and sold them all for $40 to $50 each on eBay. I’d say he’s made enough profit and should donate these supplies to his local hospital. What an ass. He has a lot of nerve whining that he is stuck with all his profit-seeking goods now. Can’t he sell on Amazon at a normal and reasonable price? Or is that just not something he would even consider doing since he is so greedy?
Now that his name is out there I hope people treat him in the manner he deserves. Go to a restaurant? Charge him 10x the price of his meal.

The sad thing is, he will still likely make the bucketloads of money he'd originally planned. Anyone local to him - care facilities, local governments, businesses, etc - who are in need will be happy to have found a new supply of needed products.
