Why do they let that idiot on tv?

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph I just can't deal with him right now.

Well...maybe they're both tired of presidenting (Who knew it could be so hard???) and have decided that it would be easier to let Pelosi take over.

I actually don't trust a thing he says. Remember, he had a vaccine, remember he had this so under control that it was a non-issue. He is more concerned with the stock market and his investments than he is about anything.

I saw a meme that said something along the lines of "When the said Trump had a "negative test" I thought he finally had an IQ test."

I feel like he must be really regretting running for president right now. I think he had absolutely no idea what he was getting himself into.

I really think he lied about getting a test and then also getting a 'negative'. When he was describing it, it was like he didn't know how the actual test was administered.

He probably believed it would be like another TV reality show where he’d get to be the star and everything would be edited to make him look good. Now the actual reality of it all is attacking him with a vengeance, and he doesn’t have the ability to deal with any of it.

I don’t think it’s ever been as clear as this past week how unfit he is for this job. How many more people are going to suffer because of it.

I hate Trump. I think he's a sick disgusting excuse for a human being. But I also think he has to do what he is doing. Just because I loathe him with every fiber of my being and think he's an absolute moron, I also think he has to have these press conferences. If at the very minimum, they are showing him for who he is, but if they give anyone comfort or hope, I am not taking that away from them. This is a very scary time. I don't want people thinking they should do things they shouldn't, but I don't see him saying that. He is definitely making it clear to quarantine.

I also think he lied about the test. I wonder how his doctor is living with that.

Why doesn't one of the reporters grow a pair and ask him if he still believes "it's a democratic hoax"?

He’s not even following his own advice. There were more then 10 people in that room. They touch the podium one after each other. They aren’t standing 6 feet apart. They either have a cure they aren’t sharing or they are out of their depth.

I'm not sure he actually has ever felt *regret* about ANYTHING. 

He wanted to run, for the publicity for his company.  My guess is he had no IDEA that he would actually win, and had no idea what the *actual* job of President entailed, besides posing for photo ops, like the stuff he did for his reality show shtick.

He was woefully unprepared to actually BE President--  but regret?  Nope.  He once said he has never done anything he even needed to ask forgiveness from GOD for-  so I'm betting he's never felt the emotion of regret ever, in his entire life.  


ETA:  this morning I heard his answers about him being *tested* and I don't for a MINUTE believe that he actually WAS tested.  He may have had his temperature taken, and thought that was the same thing, perhaps...  who knows.  "I had the test" is not how anyone actually talks about having a medical test performed.  (and frankly, even if he WAS tested and it was positive, I don't think they'd let that info out.  He's that vain.)

Oh, they do. He just blows it off, claims they are “nasty,” or bans them from press conferences.

Don't they also mute their mikes? Seems like I heard that happened when a couple people tried to ask him follow up questions in one of his press conferences last week.

He certainly doesn't answer anything he doesn't like (or is over his head).  Cut them off, talk in circles,  call them names, pass the question, just wander off...

Whatever works.  He is so far over his skis and we suffer for it.
