I've held off, but I'm getting a craving for those darn Kit Kats I bought, lol. The other day I mentioned to dh and kids about us not getting into the candy yet, and they asked, "You bought candy? Where is it?" I guess I never told them I had it. I think I'm gonna end up caving today.

We have tons of candy in the house because we have candy to give out at the house, to give out at my husband's business and for the Halloween party this weekend for dh's karate students. I had three little Tootsie Rolls yesterday and that was only because they were left over after I filled 206 little party bags of candy. We still have enough candy to fill the 2 pinatas for the party. I think I've been very good about not eating the candy so far.

We already went trick or treating at Disney World. We got 7 lbs of candy. LOL. We go trick or treating at grandma's this weekend (their neighborhood does it the Saturday before Halloween) and I plan to give most of what we've gotten out at our house on Halloween night. I never have to buy and I get rid of some of what the kids get.

I don't have a huge sweet tooth, although I do really like Butterfinger and Mounds miniatures and always buy some of those (and other things) to hand out. If I bought candy now, though, my kids would be through it in a flash.

I have two strategies: I buy at the at the last minute and I buy stuff I don't like.

I haven't bought any yet - it would be gone in days if I do. I will wait until a few days before Halloween and then go buy it.

Maybe we will become the house to avoid this year, but I chose things we wouldn't eat on purpose- individually wrapped Rice Krispies, pretzel packs, and pretty pencils. I needed to stop this becoming the beginning of "candy season" for my own well being. So far, I am doing well passing the candy displays in stores, hoping I make it!
Other years, we gave out chocolate and ended up buying double to have enough to give out!

No...I've learned the hard way to buy it the day before. I'd be embarrassed to admit how many bags of candy I've had to restock. Thankfully in our current neighborhood we only get about 5 kids, so one bag is good.

No, I don't usually eat it, but my kids will if they know where it is. I put it all in a hamper in my closet, threw a clean towel over it and then some "dirty" laundry. They haven't found it yet .

We have gone through one bag. To be fair, it was a small bag, and I really didn't buy it for the trick or treaters. Although, I did hide it..but everyone found it.

Not yet. I put it up above the kitchen cabinets. 2 LARGE Costco size bags too. So far so good. But...we won't talk about the peanut M&M's, Snickers and Milky Way Caramel that I brought to work to stock my candy dish with.....

I haven't even purchased any yet. We just moved into this house over the summer and have no idea what to expect, traffic wise, so I'm not even sure how much to buy!

No. We bought a bag for a trunk or treat event at school and I darn near opened it last night. I made DD take it to school today to remove temptation.

Not tempted yet here. I am not a huge candy fan, which helps and I try and avoid buying my favorites (Almond Joy.)

Not yet. I bought a big bag at Costco a week or two ago and it's still sealed. DH did tell me to buy one more bag when I was there again today. I'm pretty sure someone or multiple someones in this house is going to be eating the leftovers. That's 300 bars of chocolate and we don't get that many TOT'ers ever!

We were trick or treating in Disneyland two weeks ago. It's almost all gone. Why had I never had a Peanut Chew before?!

No candy here unless the kids decide they want to participate. If they don't , We will lock the house up and go up to our other house and have a bonfire if there is no wind. And invite friends over for and treats.
We only get maybe ten goblins or so anymore.
