Since I am stuck at home I have decided to reintroduce myself to scrap supplies! I am making this little chipboard album for my niece's little girl. I am stumped on what can be done to this cover (I have 2 to choose from) I would like it to coordinate with the rest of the album which is primarily grey, pink, and white. Do you have any ideas??? TIA

Do you have some pink paint?
Can you swipe a light coat of liquid glue on the cover then add pink foil! You could do it again and add loose glitter, burnish it in really well, then apply an overcoat of glue to seal it.

No clue, but HOW cute is your book!!! with the cutouts.. I am not sure.. I know I wrapped ribbon around a book I did, but it was just plain solid. I don't think that will transfer to your book. I like grammadee idea.

Sweet pages!
Could you back the album cover with pink paper that would show through the cut outs and then embellish the front with pink letters for her name, a small cluster of embellish, etc.

Do you have Nuvo Drops? You could do the flowers in pink, green, and white.

This sounds like a really cute idea! Thank you!!! Do you have any idea where I could order some pink foil?
I have paint, glue, and glitter but no foil.

I hadn't thought about putting her name on the front, but that would be super cute! Thanks!!

Do you have Nuvo Drops? You could do the flowers in pink, green, and white. Not only do I not have any Nuvo Drops, I don't even know what they are!! Off to Google!!
I haven't done any real scrapbooking in almost 8 years!!

Kind of like puffy paint for scrapbooking. Very pretty colors and some have glitter.

Based on the 2 covers and the 2 pages shown, I would select the bottom cover. Prime it and paint it pink. I would send you some but there is no pink in my shop.

I have paint, glue, and glitter but no foil.
Paint and glitter would work, too. I found this large roll of Deco Foil at the Thermo Web site, but I am thinking you could get some smaller sheets in a multi colour pack for less money.

I think you are right don. Seems the most baby to me.
I am going to prime and paint this light pink tonight and then go from there. I may add glitter, but I need to practice before I screw the whole thing up!! I know, I know, it's just paper!
You guys have been really kind....thank you!

When I said pink I didn't think it could get worse ... I never considered glitter.

So this is personal preference, but I would advise on skipping the glitter for a gift.
Some people like it, some are indifferent, and some absolutely hate even the tiniest shed scrap of glitter. Most types of glitter are not very good once they escape out into the ecosystem being micro-plastics. Some just as pretty alternatives are embossing, holographic, foil or shimmer cardstock. There are also adhesive sheets/washi that look like glitter but don't shed. No idea what they're called but I got mine at the dollar store.
