Our sweet Marley got pregnant before we could get her spayed. We thought she wasn’t due for another few weeks. We came home from a grocery run and noticed she looked slim...I called for her and she came to me and then promptly made her way back to her heated doghouse. Imagine our surprise, she had her puppies! All 9 of them! They’re only hours old and doing well. Momma is very protective, we’re giving her space other than checking up on them and making sure she’s eating and drinking. Theyre so cute!!  |

Oh they are adorable! What kind of dog is Marley and what kind are the pups? We’re not 100% sure what the mom is. We rescued her and were told she’s a border collie but we see a little chocolate Lab in her. The dad is a Bernese-Kelpie. |

Awww!! Will you keep them all? Oh I wish, and so does our dd16! We’ll keep one or two males, I can’t bear the thought of losing these cuties. |

(and you do know that you'll have to post daily puppy pics, right?? lol!) We rescued her so we’re not 100% sure on breed. We were told border collie but we see a little chocolate lab in her. Dad is a Bernese kelpie. Both are getting fixed soon. We were told it’s better to hold off neutering the male until he’s a year and a half but of course Marley went into heat a little sooner than we thought, or she’s older than we thought. But in the meantime we get to stare at these cuties! And yes I’ll gladly share photos! |

The dad is a Bernese-Kelpie. That has the potential to be a very good looking dog. I'd love to see what they look like in another 6 to 8 weeks. We have some neighbors up the street that have weimaraners. They had puppies last year they were selling. I saw the female outside the other day, she looked like she was pregnant again, with about 24 puppies. She was huge and lumpy. I'm sure they have been born by now. I love puppies so much. I was feeling the stress last night and was telling DH I needed a puppy, it would make me feel better. Which of course it wouldn't long term because, well, puppy. But they are so fun to snuggle. Enjoy your puppy bliss. |
