Figuring out distance learning for my theatre classes took most of last week, but I deep cleaned the kitchen today. Lots of projects for next week to get some stuff done that was going to wait until summer, but since we have the time, might as well start now.

I did a much needed clean out of my broom/utility closet today. Also cleaned out the laundry room cabinets and cleaned everything off of the top of the dryer. Now if I will only make sure it stays that way.

My goal is to do this. Mostly in my craft room and master closet.
Plus I haven't hung anything on the wall since I moved in over 5 months ago.

I don’t have any additional time to do things as I don’t work. DH will likely have to continue to work, he is a therapist in a skilled nursing facility. But he has a bit more time now so we are taking advantage. Not so much because we have more time, but I think we need to still be moving forward somehow. So we are getting back to painting a lot of our house, starting with the entry way so we can see and appreciate progress.
We needed some supplies though so fortunately Home Depot delivers! We are also installing some blinds in our stairway. We had a brief discussion about going in since there is so much space and people aren’t crowded but quickly decided against it. I don’t know why it surprises me that they deliver paint but I’m glad they do. We got the Kilz primer there. And have 5 gallons of the color we are using in the entry so we’re set there. But we still haven’t decided on a ceiling color so if Sherwin Williams closes down that might have to wait. We have 9 samples and I’m just not in the deciding mood!
I’m an organizer at heart so I’m always in an on/off pattern of throwing things away or donating them. Right now it is on, but not in concentrated areas. I just randomly pick a small space and go through it. Fortunately we have an extra room where we can gather our donations and get them out of our living space.

I'm not tackling any new projects, but I am keeping up with the house and dishes.....oh the dishes. All this cooking at home with all the kids home is getting hard, but I will keep at it if it means keeping us all home and safe.

While stuck at home for the foreseeable future, I am finally getting around to going through all my clothing and coming up with a huge donation pile. I’ll wait until after the pandemic to actually donate them. Just bagging them up now and putting them out of the way. This purge is way overdue. It sad that it took a pandemic for me to find the time to do this! All the Goodwill/Salvation Army donation drop offs are closed... She said she was waiting until afterwards to donate. I’ve just cleaned out my fridge and needless to say chucked out some jars of stuff that were out of date.

I am still working but on a wonderful modified schedule. I work 10 hours Mon, Tues and Wed and off Thurs, Friday and weekend. FOUR days off.. I will be sad when that goes away. It starts this week. But I was home Friday last week and I started on the kitchen. I washed everything on top of my cabinets and cleaned my old stove off as much as humanly possible. I scrubbed and scrubbed. Plus all my appliances on my counters, like the toaster, toaster oven, etc.
DD is home and washing the baseboards (she is loving that) haha..
I spent Sat/Sun finishing up my crafty room... organized the closet and my paper which was a mess.
I started on the bathrooms and will continue those Thursday. I HATE bathrooms. And then just keep going from there. I need to empty my cedar chest and see what is in there. Mostly my kids baby clothes I kept and older stuff from when I was younger.
I also need to hang some curtains and install my Ring doorbell which I bought at Christmas.. but kinda waiting for DH to help with those things.

I spent the weekend deep cleaning the house and getting small projects done that we'd been putting off. Mostly I wanted the house spotless so it wasn't a distraction. I'm working from home and I'm bad about wanting to get housework done when I'm home. I will say I have been very focused on work the past couple of days and cranking out a lot. Plus I love being able to be home to enjoy the clean house. That said, my kids are grown so I don't have to deal with cleaning up after them or entertaining them while I work.

Yes and no. I've been off since Thursday, 3/19. I cleaned my kitchen cabinets (white shaker that collects all the dust on the lower ledge) and cleared all the crap off my counters/island. then I couldn't seem to get beyond that. The rest of my house is trashed and I only seem to have enough motivation to keep my kitchen cleaned. I keep trying to sort my still unorganized craft room (since I moved in Jan 10th) and just can't seem to get anywhere. I move a few things around but don't make any real progress. Yesterday I got two loads of laundry done. This morning I mopped my kitchen/dining room floors. That's it. Not a lot of work for a week being home. I thought I would be doing a lot more.

DHS is a teacher so he and I have begun the process of moving his game room to the garage and getting several rooms repurposed and organized.
I paid $300 to 1800gotjunk to pick up all the garage crap. We got a bunch of different shelves to get stuff off the floor
I told him we have 2 months to finish because Ds2 has to move back to one of the spaces.
