Share a recent scraplift/inspired by layout here! I lifted a 4x6 card from the Simple Stories Say Cheese line. I loved the look of the card, but it wasn't big enough for my tastes. The original... from Simple Stories.  My scraplift...I cut out the photo strip and layered bow with my Cameo, the little red Mickey has been in my stash for a long time. The rest of the pieces came from the Say Cheese line.  The layout...not the best pictures. But, dh surprised me with a trip to DL for my birthday (I found out the night before we left!). We were there for one day and I didn't bring my DSLR (so phone pics it is!)  |

I have a bunch of Disney pictures to scrap, but have found it challenging to use the Say Cheese line. My pictures don't always go with the red/yellow/black colors of the line. For this particular trip, I made sure DH and I both wore some black, so I could use the papers! It's a sickness I tell you!

I do not scraplift, but recently I saw several layouts where patterned paper had been cut in a circle and used on the page and I liked that. So I got out my Coluzzle and cut circles for a few layouts.

I just thought of something while typing. Is it considered scraplifting if you follow a sketch? Or is it just when you take something (or the whole thing) from a completed layout that is published? If sketches count, then I scraplift almost exclusively. If not, then the last time I scraplifted would still be today. I'm working on a layout where I'm literally copying everything except the color choices from a layout I saw in a magazine. ETA: Still haven't gotten a handle on that upload a photo thing, so I'm afraid I can't post it. Something for me to work on . . . |

Oh I love it! Great lift, turned out fantastic! And I bought that paper for our Disneyland trip this fall. I've been buying Mickey things for the three of us in red/black (and even found an outfit for DS that has a bit of yellow in it). All because I bought the Say Cheese collection. Yeah, it's definitely a sickness!  Sbartist, your Santa and bunny are darling! Great pages! |

I've never considered matching my wardrobe to a paper collection *hangs head in shame* but I will for our WDW trip in October! Hubby will already coordinate - he usually wears a white or black t-shirt. My brightly colored shirts are the problem! |

I love that 'Say Cheese' line. Im nearly done with an album that I used plenty of that in, but when I come across elements from the line I dont already have, I pick them up. Thankfully, I have several other Disney trip to scrap. Nice job using the element as inspiration!
