I still can’t believe it took this long.

Wow I thought you were already on one. Good luck. We have had a stay at home order but so many are acting like normal. Kids playing in groups and over crowded beaches and parks. People going from store to store for stuff that are wants not needs - father complaining he had to go to 10 stores for a scrabble game seriously. Urg. People posting for mobile tans, hair coloring or waxing services. All of these are closed down right now.
I really hope people up there take it seriously. I hope you stay safe.

Well it does feel like I have been on for the past two week. I know it hasn’t been the same for everyone else. I wish this order had come in earlier.

I will be honest - I am surprised that its taken this long. But no worries... y'all beat Texas to it, as most of our state goes along like everything is a-ok. 😑

I think with Boeing closing today that made his decision easier, and after seeing all the people ignoring the advice this weekend everyone realized some people are just not going to stay home unless you make them. And yes, we can still go to the store, or go for a walk.

Denver city and county stay at home order tomorrow at 5:00. Not the whole state. Liquor stores and non-medical marijuana dispensaries closed...deemed non-essential.

I am trying to find out out if I can go into my entirely empty office to broadcast classes. Either way I'm fine.

It’s about time! I went to Safeway and Costco Sunday and Safeway the Sunday before. Did a dog walk the Thursday before that. So it feels like I have been. Friday I have to travel to my parents and shop for my parents and my dad. They are all over 70 and I don’t want them doing it themselves. My sister and bil were helping my dad, but she lost her job and bil is only working 3 days a week

I live in Washington and I occasionally visit my local Facebook page. From what I read there many people who are still going to do what the F they want to do and scream crap like "police state". I hope they put some fines or other teeth in this lock down or it is not going to be as effective as it could be. Let's just get it done! There is an amazing amount of me-me-me-me stupid out there

But no worries... y'all beat Texas to it, as most of our state goes along like everything is a-ok. 😑 I've been barely out of the house and really just in the neighborhood when I do leave since Friday the 13th. It feels to me like the whole world is locked down. But nope ... I had to follow DH over to the car repair shop today because there's something wrong with his starter. Monday 5:00 traffic like almost nothing is going on at all. WTH is wrong with people? I get that not everyone can work from home, but dang. I would have expected slightly lighter traffic. It makes me wonder why those of us who are staying at home are even bothering, honestly. I've put in a week of hard time that will be at least a week longer than those yahoos do.

Yes, the TX governor is an asshat and refuses to do a stay at home order. Our mayor, though, did a "Work Safe, Stay Safe" order and starting Tuesday at 11:59 PM, we in San Antonio are required to stay at home, this closes all nonessential businesses. It's about damn time.

I am sure that many states will follow suite, Oregon shouldn't be too far behind. Just be smart people!

A number of WA cities had gone on lock down, yesterday and today. I’m sure that helped push him in this direction.
In his press conference a couple days ago he said that some toll roads had seen declines of up to 58% (520 bridge) but others like the Tacoma Narrows were only down 24%. Not at all where we needed to be.

I made lunch for DH's office since they couldn't leave and drove by Hobby Lobby. There was a FULL parking lot. WTF. Walmarts lot was full as well. I can almost understand Walmart (groceries). But HL? No excuse. I did just see Lubbock shut down down, except for essentials so I hope Amarillo is next. We have 6 cases around here and 2 are in ICU - and both of them are young (30-40).

Lubbock is shut down, but not the 4th largest city in the country. SMDH. Where are Houston's leaders?

I can’t believe it took this long. And unfortunately, I personally know several people that will ignore it because they don’t think it applies to them.
