Edited: My son said the students love stickers but where to find stickers for kindergarteners at this point? There is no craft store or teacher store open near me. I have a gazillion stickers but not stickers little kids would like for a cheap price. ****
My son is a kindergarten special education teacher. We had an idea to send each child a card from him telling them he enjoyed them in his class and hopes to see them soon. School is closed for the rest of the year.
We will have to make whatever he sends so does anyone have any ideas? I have very very few stamps, lots of stickers and paper. But I'm thinking maybe print something on a blank card. I don't know if he has photos of each student to include.
Anyway I am looking for ideas. It will end up I will make them and he will sign them.

What a sweet idea! I’m not in the mode where I make kid things, but I’m sure you can find fun little animals to print and mount on colorful card stock. For phrases, you could do something punny, like kid’s Valentines cards have.

Some kind of activity card maybe? When I was young I always loved cards that were more than cards - colouring cards, paper doll cards, mazes, ones with mini-board games, etc. I'm sure you could find something like that online and print it off.

joblackford probably has a ton of ideas. Hope she doesn't mind that I share her Flickr Photostream HEREStickers. Bright colours. Animals. Toys. I like the idea of a colouring book image on the front. Or one tucked inside with a partial sheet of stickers. My dgs's LOVE applying stickers to things!

If you google for coloring pages you'll find tons of images you can print off for kids to color - you could definitely trim those down and use them for the card front, or fold them inside. I like the idea of including stickers too - good for fine motor skills practice as well as just good plain fun. This blog has resources for card drives that includes TONS of links to printables for kids cards including jokes that could be fun for inside the cards. jesscrafts.com/Sounds like a fun project.

There are probably plenty of people here who have some stashed away who would be happy to share given the circumstances. I would if I had any. Or maybe someone has sticker paper and would be able to print some up for you. Otherwise ETSY a lot of us Etsy sellers would love to sell you something right now. There are probably some teacher sticker stores on there.

Check the dollar store! Dollar Tree has a craft/education section with stickers for kids. I remember seeing those educational sticker books in the past.
