I dont know if it's the product placement, the stupid lyric (why is she wearing his underwear?) or what, but I have to turn that song off every time it comes on. It gets on my last nerve.

On the Disney Radio sirius station, they bleep that out. I had never heard the song before I heard a bunch of young girls singing it and I was pretty horrified. I just assumed she was wearing his underwear after sex or trying to be sexy.

It's by a boy band named 5 Seconds of Summer and the song is "She Looks So Perfect" (which means I incorrectly quoted it above..)

Thank you! I like the song, but can't stand that line! I mean why would she be wearing his underwear? I have asked my kids the same question! If they could replace it with another line, I would like the song a lot more.

Maybe she's wearing his boxers? When I was in HS girls wore mens boxers as shorts. It was so popular that shorts for women were often sold that looked like boxers (fly seam line, button in the center) but without the pesky vent. either way, it's a stupid lyric. The fact that the band is touring with One Direction says basically all I need to know about their target audience. |
