I have Spring on the brain, and I think I want to make a fairy garden this year. Just in a large pot, so I can keep it in my deck.
Do you have one? I know Pinterest has many DIY ideas for making pieces, but where is the best place to buy them? Also, please share pics if you have any.

I used to have one over 20 years ago in my old garden, thinking of doing another when this is over. I think I'll occupy my time sketching out some plans Mine was in the garden though. It was darling. I had minature roses in it and teeny little flowers, a tiny stone fairy statue and lots of smaller scale flowers planted. I had a small doll sized little wooden bench in it too. Teacup saucers "planted" in the soil next to the diantus that looked like little Alice in Wonderland flowers. Ahh..it was so sweet. I wish I had pictures of it but my photo album is at my parents house and I can't get to it now.

My DD has one that she just relocated the other day to our bamboo boxes around the fire pit. She had it in another place but the yard service guys broke a couple of her things so she decided to move it. There are some things that didn’t survive the winter too well so she wants to get some replacements.

Dollar Tree, Big Lots and Michaels have some cute fairy garden things.
There are several Fairy Garden Facebook groups. Lots of YouTube videos with fairy garden ideas too.

Yes!!! I love Fairy Gardens. I think they're adorable which is why I have three in my kitchen. My country cottage fairy garden is in a wooden tray and my two Halloween fairy gardens are in pots (one of the pots is a black plastic cauldron). I'll take pics and try to post them. Joanne Fabrics and Michaels have fairy houses and accessories in store. I have ordered from Amazon, ebay, and efairies.com. efairies.com/view-all-products/fairy-houses/. I also think I ordered from the Fairy Garden Store. www.fairygardenstore.com/main.sc. There are so many cute collections. My favorite is the Fiddlehead Fairy Village. Have fun shopping!!! If your garden is in a sunny spot, Mod Podge Outdoor and Krylon UV Resistant Clear Coating are products to protect your fairy pieces.

No, i have looked for gnomes and fairies and a door for two different people on my local Facebook Moms group. I was going to be at the garden centre anyway and said I would look.

I have a patio with tons of plants. It’s going to be an oasis when everything blooms. I even got a huge Chinese orange blossom tree. It’s my baby. We have 5 pots left for annuals? We like begonias so will have lots of room for them. I have a nice herb garden that is functional as I am using it already. I am looking for furniture as we moved in the fall. I do have some ideas though!

I have one. I set it up 2 or 3 summers ago. I have a birdbath that has a crack in it and doesn't really hold enough water for the birds. So I went around to the Dollar Tree, Joanns and Michaels and gathered stuff here and there. I haven't worked on it recently as it has been too wet to be able to make it "pretty". I have a picture from when I first set it up. I'll try to figure out how to get it posted here.

My dd Jenna has one. I posted pic's on my IG I think of it. It's in my grandma's really old Terrarium, so she can have it inside during the winter, and outside if she wants in the summer. My mom put it together for her. It's really cute.

We have several local nurseries that have great fairy garden sections! We used to have one at the base of a tree in our backyard. I take it down each winter as the snow starts. Well we just had that tree taken down so I wasn't going to put it out. Then I saw on a local Buy Nothing FB group that a mom was looking for Fairy Garden items for her young daughter - so we decided it was time to pass it on. The little girl LOVED the stuff. Made us smile.
