Yeah... I read the first few posts on that then bailed out and have no desire to go back in there. I'll stick to the sunshine and rainbows posts thank you very much.

Well, I've learned so much detail about posters pooping habits, and their attitude to it in some cases - that I'm not sure I really needed to know! As is often said, one can learn something new every day on this board.....just not sure anyone had this subject in mind though!!

I had no interest until I saw it was 4 pages, so I had to look (of course)!  I'm surprised that I was surprised at the first "personal poop" story. Nothing is TMI for the Peas - resurrected or otherwise.

I read in the bathroom because it's the only time I can convince my family to leave me alone. My husband is not really a reader so he doesn't understand that when I'm reading a book, I'm deeply involved in a conversation that doesn't include him and he shouldn't just start talking to me. If I retreat to another room to read, he suspects I've done so because I don't want to spend time with him or my children inevitably come find me to ask me things they could ask their father or figure out on their own. When I am shitting, people rarely want to come in and have a chat.

I read someplace that the more education a person has, the more likely they are to read on the toilet. Maybe a college education tends to slow down the poops. I don't know. I come from a long line of people who read on the can, some of whom have PhDs and some of whom barely graduated high school. My mother's loo has a cross-stitch hanging up that identifies it as The Library. So I am highly suspicious of someone who denies reading on the throne. It's such a normal thing to me.

And it was all mine. It was my first post here (that I started) and was generated by something I read somewhere else, but (ha, no pun intended), it did go kinda off the rail. It was labled "fluff" and it was meant to be totally fun and funny.

However, I'm rarely surprised at how such a diverse group of reasonablly intelligent women (and possibly the errant guy) can get their collective panties in a bunch over something that has NO. IMPORTANCE. WHATSOEVER.

Then again, we'd be so boring if we were all alike.
