Dh said he wanted to eat more fish so I picked up a bag of mahi mahi fillets at Sam’s club a while back. I’m a little scared to try them. I’m hoping they are a mild fish. Do you have any good recipes to try? Thanks!

I love mahi mahi! I like to do a little lemon juice, butter and garlic melted together, brush on top and bake till it flakes. Easy and tasty.

Be careful of eating it with shellfish fish! That’s how my sealife allergy got kicked into full mode! And oddly I am not alone with this happening.
Otherwise, enjoy that for me, For what I remember it was delicious. I made it in a griddle with just butter and lemon.

I’m not sure if I should just try it myself once before having the family try it (and waste it if they don’t like it). I’ll see how many are in the pack.

At a table set in a room with a locked door. Candles. Nice music....

Mahi mahi is often liked by people who don’t like a lot of fish. The texture is closer to steak or pork chops than fish like salmon or cod that flakes.
I would thaw the number of steaks you want to serve. Then put them in a ziplock bag with some olive oil, chopped garlic, and lemon juice for 30-60 minutes before you grill or broil them. Don’t marinate too long in lemon juice because the acidity cooks the fish.

Do y’all like Cajun food? Working upstairs right now but if you do, tag me and I have one DH really likes, and he’s not a fan of most fish.
eta: Did a quick google to see if I could find the exact one, and a lot of similar recipes pop up. “Maple Cajun Mahi Mahi”
We serve it with dirty rice and DH is in heaven.
