Absolutely no where, of course!
Year end for my organization is next Tuesday. We aren't allowed to carry over any leave so I'm burning the rest of my time for Friday and a 1/2 day Monday. In normal circumstances SO and I would have headed out for a long weekend road trip but I'm going to stay home and scrapbook with the Peas instead.
I'm kind of an extroverted introvert so I'm doing pretty good with all this staying at home and could certainly make it a habit...if it weren't for needing that pay cheque lol

I had today and tomorrow off for a cancelled retreat. Tomorrow I’m going grocery shopping for my mom/stepdad and my dad. Then I’m delivering their goods outside their doors and leaving  |

I was going to suggest Puerto Backyardia. I had a Zoom staff meeting there yesterday and while chilly, it was quite nice. I had some hot tea and a blanket to help keep me comfortable.
Husband and children were in the house playing electric guitar, keyboard, and singing (very poorly and off key). FAR too loud for me to attend a meeting.

I go up and downstairs to do stuff. It’s ok. I am bored but we are managing. We are starting to look for patio furniture online. That is fun.

I’m an extrovert home body too, so I’m not too sad about not leaving the house. A day of scrapping sounds like a good way to spend your “staycation”😉

 It's school holidays here for the next two weeks. I had booked a week of annual leave, and we were going to go down to the beach. I spoke to my boss today (she was going to have the following week off) and we decided to cancel our leave. I also have a week booked in July and a week in September (both during the school holidays). I wonder whether things will be back to normal by then?

You could do a virtual vacation to anywhere! After I recently discovered Maeve Binchy's books I looked on YouTube for "small Irish villages" and toured several of them. You can do the same for anywhere in the world really.  |
