DD13 and I are making a bunch of postcards (basically card fronts, lol) to mail in bulk to my sister/BIL for their nursing home residents (this was a specific request - if you decide to do this, please check with the recipient first -not all nursing homes are accepting mail for distribution to residents at the moment, some prefer email only).
Looking for some phrases/sentence/sentiments we can write on the reverse before signing our names. Something cheerful and generic and suitable for nursing home residents.

a happy hello
just a note to brighten your day
happy spring (if they'll be distributing them soon)
sunshine and flowers and happy thoughts (if the card has florals on)
sending a smile your way (especially if its a funny image)

I saw this on Instagram. Maybe you can adapt it to work for your cards. (transcribing just in case the photo doesn't load) Sending paper hugs. With everything going on in the world you may not have many visitors. So I wanted to let you know you are loved and in my prayers. Sunshine and smiles, Kristie http://instagram.com/p/B-AX-mnpUwS
