I only have boys and while they appreciate their school and our family albums they aren't too interested in actually crafting themselves (and that's ok). Years ago I got my mom and sister started. Mom still scrapbooks and makes cards and my sister has moved onto making digital albums for her family.
How about you?

I have 3 kids and have dreamed about them being scrapbookers like me. Reality is, not so much. However one of my daughters will help me. She won't make her own pages but will stand next to me, talk about layouts, pick papers and help me make decisions. I actually need a coach ha ha I'm terrible with making decisions. She's not afraid to say "cut the paper!" So I'll take that. =)

Nope. I tried with DD, but she is just not crafty at all. I wish she would, especially now.

When my girls were younger and I was a much more prolific scrapper they each had their own little kits and their schools actually had scrapbooking as one of the lunch activities so they did do some but never really got into it. My oldest is very good at documenting her life through Instagram So I guess that’s all I’ll get for now LOL

No, I haven't. I would love my DIL to get into it but she has many other hobbies and isn't particularly interested. DS1 scrapbooked some with me when he was younger. I love those pages he did!
My sister, who I have not spoken with in many years got into it but never with any great interest and I'm sure she yard saled her stuff years ago. My cousin used to scrap with me a lot and she still has her stuff but no interest.
I do plan for my DGD when she is older to join me in scrapping. I hope she will and that she sticks with it for the next generation. I have always been the family memory keeper and need to pass it on at some point.

My oldest son did a little when he was 8-9 years old, especially in the summer. He made (or at least started) a couple of albums about vacations and local events.

When my dgd's were younger and came to spend a week or more each summer at the farm, they played with my scrappy supplies, and we made little books with photos of their activities to show their parents what they had been up to here. Last fall I was surprised--and very pleased--to have one of the girls pull out one of those books we made when she was four years old. All the girls loved going through it with her, and we even did a photo shoot recreating some of the pic's in it.
Of my 11 dgk's some are "artsy" and some not so much, but they all love to see my scrapbook pages. I have found that the best way to get them interested is actually print them some photos and give them some supplies and walk away so they can create their pages the way THEY want to. Sometimes they wind up with a LO, sometimes a card, sometimes an art project that hangs on the wall for awhile, and sometimes they wind up with a bunch of pieces of paper! This reminds me, I need to do a couple of pages about "Scrapbooking M**y Style". I took pic's of one little guy playing with my scrapbook stuff. He is the most physically active of the kids, but every once in a while he says, "Gramma, let's scrapbook!"
Our nephew's wife has gotten into card making and comes over a few times a year to make batches of cards.

I have two sons. They were not into creating. They were into sports and destroying things. Their girlfriends love my books. That's good with me. I have a few scrappy friends and enjoy their company.
