What are you planning to put in your children's baskets this year? Any good ideas for teenagers? Boys?

Well, this year it's just going to be some chocolate.
I ordered a candy mix of Twix/Mars/Snickers minis.
And a mini Hershey bar mix.
Usually I would buy funky socks, maybe gift cards to fast food, mini soda cans, Pringles cans, etc.
This year I'm not going to be out browsing, and online ordering has proven rather limited.

I bought all outdoor stuff about a month ago knowing we’d be locked in. Swimsuits, chalk, pool toys. Also see’s chocolate and peeps etc.

We just cleaned out the garage...looks like Easter to me! Kidding...kind of. I'll keep the cruddy ones from the garage box but the kids are getting bath products, reese's eggs, sanitizing wipes and paper towels. ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200328/5a812583ed5948aee37499df93bd8f75.jpg)

I bought a bunch of candy last week and threw it in the attic. It'll be fine on Easter. I will hide the baskets. They are 20 and 17!

I am sending a box of Easter goodies to DS2 and one to my mom. Hers has some socks in and his has a little lego set.
My DS1 and DIL agreed to let me fill their baskets. The requested less candy than usual so I bought a few things I have to include: peeps, jelly beans, Reeses pb eggs, and robin eggs (those malted egg things). I will probably get each of them a gift card too, ass well as DH. I ordered filled eggs from a local church and everyone is getting some of those.
Now DGD is another story. I have peeps for her little basket (that was mine as a little one) because she loves them, but aside from that I have a 31 gifts bunny tote and I have 2 hooded towels in there, a doll I got from the quilt show, 2 outfits, a dress and some hair accessories, a comb and brush, and a little doll baby bottle. I also got her a little doll stroller to push around her baby.
I'm looking forward to it. We are going to do Pennsylvania Dutch ham loaf and of course, hot cross buns for breakfast and hopefully a little egg hunt in the yard.

The Easter bunny brings See's Candy. I decided to order online, but got an email a few days ago that the online orders were being canceled. While my kids are older, my daughter was so bummed and insisted that if the Easter bunny couldn't get See's then an IOU would be fine. I will get the boys Steam cards, a t-shirt, and my daughter I found a necklace that was on her Christmas wish list. I hope I can find a ham, I haven't been to the grocery in a week, and don't plan to go for several more days.

My daughters are 17, 20 and 22, so we really don't do much. It's so hard to buy for them. This year we will not do anything because I'm trying to avoid the stores. Maybe this summer if we are back to normal, we will treat them to a "make-up" Easter basket!

It’s going to be really hard this year. Normally I would be able to sneak stuff into the house when DD was at school and pick stuff up here and there from several different places to make things interesting, but with the kids doing school from home that will be a lot harder to do. After looking at their app and seeing all the stuff that they have in stock at our local store that can’t be shipped, I’m probably going to have to take one for the team and actually go there.
When I was at Target last a week ago, they were fully stocked with all things Easter because nobody was even looking at that stuff. They were all freaking out about the empty hand sanitizer and toilet paper aisles. I should have just bought the stuff then, but I still had the problem of getting it in past DD.

Right now all I have is a chocolate bunny for each of my sons. I like to do baskets, but it usually involves mindless wandering around a store for ideas which I don't want to do these days. Might end up with some XBox gift cards...although I can hear them arguing over their game right now...so maybe not...

For my niece, I’m making one full of art supplies along with 2 sparkly pillows I found at Home Goods for her newly painted “big girl” room. (Shes 3-1/2)
For ours, last year it was all books—everyone got a basket filled with books from their faces, plus 1 of their favorite chocolate bunny/lamb, and one other of their fave candies.

So nobody else is thinking about Easter baskets this year? Nope, Easter is cancelled in our house. My DS14 doesn’t care. If I had small children I would grab a few bits and pieces at the grocery store and hide plastic eggs, but for us, it’s not important.

Since I'm not going to be able to see my grandkids, I ordered them one big gift instead of individual baskets. They have a lake cabin, so I got them a Rubberdockie. It's a 6' x 18' foam pad that can float on the water. It can hold a bunch of adults and kids. They'll have to wait a couple months for it to warm up, but I think it'll be fun for them. My DD can fill them up on candy. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

I am sending 18 and 25 year old DGSs big bags of mixed Easter chocolates from Sam's, a kazoo, a sling shot, a favorite character/band t-shirt, and a toothbrush and toothpaste. They are 20 hours away. 15 month old DGS got a little tikes 2 in 1 pirate ship and dd will stuff it with Annie's bunny crackers, pirate board book, palm held crayons, Easter coloring book, character t-shirt and some water toys that I'm sending. He and DD & SIL are 2 hours away. DD & SIL will get some Spring themed kitchen towels, assorted Reese's peanut butter candy, dark chocolate truffles and bars, and flavored tea bags. Sadly, we will not be able to see any of them.

Finished putting DS (age 4 1/2) basket together on Thursday and his eggs for his egg hunt are filled. His basket has Peeps and Sour Patch bunnies, a small Lego set, a stuffed Disney Figment that Santa forgot in his sleigh, crayons, and a Ryan’s World treasure chest. Eggs are filled with Mario Kart hot wheels, skittles, Twix, and quarters. This is the first year we’re not spending Easter with his cousins but we’re trying to keep things as normal as possible for him.
