I thought about it but there wasn't a whole lot I actually wanted. I was trying to talk myself into things. Those few things were selling out in my cart before I could even finish looking through the pages of items. So I got irritated and started thinking about how they had a history of shorting my orders of items and just issuing a store credit instead. Well this time if I was shorted there wouldn't even be a store credit. So I skipped it and instead got the items I actually wanted from scrapbook.com and ACOT.

I got Shimelle's stamp set, which I'd had in my cart for awhile. Nothing else appealed to me. My order is supposed to ship on the 21st. I know the store closes on the 10th, but I'm betting it's down to just the 2 of them filling orders, so they are probably backed up. And just because the store closes on the 10th, that doesn't mean all their inventory magically disappears. I've never had problems with them, so I'm not too concerned. If I never get my order, I'll be more upset about not having the stamp set than losing the money. Oh, and my shipping was only $1.40, so that was good. I'll probably move all my shopping over to ACOT. I've ordered from them before and been very happy.

I thought about it and looked through the store, but they didn't have anything is stock that I really liked, so I passed.

Got my order Thursday and everything was there and it was packaged well. It was bittersweet knowing it was my last TwoPeas box... you can bet your butt I took a picture of it though! Lol

No, I didn't place any last minute orders, I was too mad! I had been ordering at least once a month, but no more. Still mad about it all. I hold grudges!

I placed one last order, which I received yesterday. Only 1 stamp set wasn't in stock--and instead of bothering to tell me it was out of stock and refunding my money, I kid you not, they quietly gave my account a credit. I didn't receive any emails or messages telling me about the credit, I just happened to see it because I looked in my cart--I kept seeing comments about Shimelle's stamp set that I hadn't order and I decided I wanted it, so I went to see how much they were going to bill me for shipping on it. And that's when I noticed the credit. So I placed another order for Shimelle's stamp set to use the credit. I was mad about the credit (who doesn't refund the credit card for something not in stock?? or throw in something else and say "We were out of that color, so here's a couple things to make up for it.") and I was not going to let them have the "free" money by me not using it!

I picked up a couple of cut files but that's it - I had been eyeing them for a while.

I did. When I ordered I got an estimated shipping date 3 weeks out. I was not happy about that but it was too late. I had already placed my order. Just hoping that I will indeed receive it.

I did not place an order, just nothing I really "needed". I had never had any issues with my orders, nothing ever missing or damaged. I just placed an order with ACOT, for OA's Public Library, and the box came all smashed and my paper kit was smashed in the corner. All the papers are bent. And shipping was not cheap! I guess I will try SB.com next ?

I also ordered only because I had a gift card to spend. I have never been a big online shopper to begin with, and usually only buy collection kits, so by the time I hit the store there wasn't much that really excited me. I got mostly Thickers, maybe a few other letter sticker sheets. (clearly it was a memorable collection of products!)
...hahahaha... I AM SO DUMB! I just went back to look at my order and noticed there is one sheet of 12x12 paper in my order... why would I do that? I looked at the thumbnail of it and it's covered in letters, I must have thought it was an alphabet sticker sheet. OMG, I'm so fired!!!

Any time I ordered stuff that was out of stock I would just get a store credit. I remember actually getting really frustrated one time and getting into it with them over a 75 cent piece of paper. I wanted my freaking 75 cents refunded. Not a credit. I did get it in the end too. That is just shady though. A store credit to a store that is closing and no longer has much inventory. Shady shady shady! I'm glad you caught it and there was still something you wanted to buy.

I did not. I was concerned whether things would actually arrive, besides which I could not justify spending on anything there after having to purchase so many supplies for my mom and myself for the next drawing class we plan to be taking.

i was on vacation when it got announced - does anyone know why they were so crapheaded about locking everyone out of the message boards? Like others, I thought it was mean spirited and just downright petty.

I did not. I just wasn't feeling that I wanted to support them any further, plus I wasn't really sure I could trust them to handle things properly.
