Jordan Page - did anyone else see this?

I'm mildly amused and annoyed by influencers. I read it in another place when I'm curious about the latest drama. I take them in small doses and don't have a great memory. The family is theohanaadventure they met up with.

I follow a couple as "markers" of what horrible impacts social media has on the world.

I'm hoping to keep raising awareness of their danger.

Just as people "bitch about" maskholes and other people who endanger their communities by spreading their vapidity far and wide like a disease.

I don't follow Jordan or any of the other Mormon LDS "influencers". But their shit is reposted a lot. And somehow their crap is pushed into my feeds.

There is also a lot of talk lately about "influencers" and these Mormon LDS moms who are great at spreading misinformation, lies, horrible ideas, and just regurgitate others tag word to get noticed.

So many others are catching on to their BS and unhealthy lifestyle.

I don't directly go to their accounts but news articles and others make sure their stupidity is known and that I follow.

This whole "influencer" life is fascinating. How fake they are. How far they reach to get likes. How they use others to make themselves look good. How they manipulate.

How Jen Does It quit?! I used to watch her.

I loved Shelly and was sad when she quit. I wasn't a fan of her keto videos but enjoyed watching her other videos. I always hope she comes back.

Surely it's time for another round of "did anyone else see this?". Apparently last night she went to a concert. Not an outdoor concert. And she tells about how great it is by taking her mask off. It's one thing to be stupid, but she just elevates her stupidity by sharing it with everyone. I'm looking at Covid 19 risk map that was shared and from what I can tell it's far less risky for me to attend a concert in the area I live than her. But you know what I did last night? I stayed home because that's where people need to be now days. Stay the fuck home! I just can't get over how some people's lives have not changed one bit.  It's like they live in an alter universe.

She lives in my state. I just had my oldest son (who has recovered from COVID) over to our instacare for a suspected blood clot. When we pulled into the parking lot it was full, but when we got into the clinic it was empty - literally one other person waiting in the waiting room. I enquired when we were checking in and the nurse said those people were all over in the COVID unit. It is a MESS here. That is VERY irresponsible of her. Doesn't she have babies? My daughter is a NICU nurse in one of the largest hospitals here and they've had a few babies with COVID. I can't believe she'd take that risk. 

Allegedly,  their new, 18,000-square foot mansion has
a pool worthy of a resort (waterfall, huge slide, etc). but there
are no fences around it.  With 8 small children around, and
after almost losing her child to drowning.

I have been emotionally bracing myself for weeks to publish this post. I know I need to push past my fears and do it, not for me, but for him.

For my son.

For my little boy.

Who almost drown[ed] because of me.

Because I was distracted on my phone.

He was feet away from me, and yet, I almost lost him.

It has been 7 years.

SEVEN.

And yet...

I can still see, with absolute clarity, his blue face under water.

I can still hear the sound of his teeth grinding as I pulled him out.

I can feel his limp, dead weight.

I still remember every word he said as he screamed and cried for me, as he was put in a horrible machine in the hospital.

I still remember every detail of that phone call... The one where I had to tell my husband that our son almost died because I was distracted on Instagram.

My heart is pounding OUT OF MY CHEST and I can hardly see my screen through the tears as I type this.

Even now.

scrappintoee she is hardly frugal anymore. The whole freebs thing is weird.

I am so over many "influencers" - quotes because many think they are or act like they are but they aren't.

I have found some smaller YouTube channels I enjoy and am happy about that.

It seems once someone gets to 100k they change and then follow what everyone else is doing.

Give me who you are. Not a made up version.
