Well - I haven't used my Quikcutz dies for what feels like years...until last weekend. I pulled out an alpha set, fell in love, and have now moved my Quikcutz dies (I use it with the Revolution) to a main area and have it out all the time. I'm excited about using them again.

I was teaching a class and someone gave me a binder full of QK. Then someone asked if it would work in my Tim Holtz side kick (I think that’s what it called) mini die cutting machine I had on the table. Totally works! No more having to squeeze that bulky handle thingy. Now I just have to remember I have them!

Wondering if that means they'll work in a Cuttlebug? I think I would use them if it did, rather than pulling out the QK tool and doing each one individually.
I just used Basic Grey Wholly Cow rub-ons from 2008 on a layout over the weekend. Those rub-ons still work just as great as they did back when I bought them. Made me really miss BG and their wonderful products/designs all over again.

I can’t remember the plate sandwich you’re supposed to use, but I’ve done it with most of my QK dies.

I don't have quikcutz dies but I do have about 9 sets of sizzix sizzlets alphabet dies that are hidden in a cabinet. I need to pull a set out and try them in the cuttlebug. Thanks for reminder to use old supplies.

I used my chalks this past weekend to make a "mixed media" background that didn't warp my paper.

I’ve been using some of my Cuttlebug dies and embossing folders lately.
I also went through my purple patterned papers and chose a couple of older ones for my Disney Tangled layout.

I used some Creative Memories patterned paper from 1998 yesterday. You know, the thin, one sided stuff.

QK Dies work in the Cuttlebug. I have several sets and always used them in my CB. I can't remember the sandwich though. I upgraded to the Epic 6 last year.
I told my DH today that when all this is over I don't think I will be purchasing new craft items for a long time. It's not about money but about simplicity and being content.

I am redoing my first real album because one it was falling apart and two there are some pretty BAD layouts in there. So in keeping with that era of scrapping I am using older supplies..and keeping it simple..I have to admit that it's been fun.
I don't remember the name of the line, but I can picture the items in the store.. they were those die cuts that there was a matching frame, title, couple of pictures all of the same theme.. I pulled a set of those out.. a blue Happy Birthday and a matching cupcake (no frame though).. so dolled those up a bit and made a cute simple layout.

I used a couple of sheets of the old MME Wild Asparagus paper. Loved that line.

This is an awesome thread! I’ve been busy cleaning up my scrap area (when I have the energy after wfh), but want to tackle using up some older product next!

I've just made a rainbow layout (a la Shimelle's video with SCT last week). There is not a single current item on it! Think the most recent item may have been 5 years old!
