I placed an order at 9am today with the Not Just For Boys kit club...just got my shipping noticed. Crazy amazing. I'm excited.

Me too. I ordered late last night and received a notice this morning. Which kit did you get? I feel a little guilty ordering something non essential but other than 2 math games 3 weeks ago for ds and a puzzle yesterday for my mom, I haven’t ordered anything except food.

They are fast with shipping! I had to skip this month as I'm trying to keep it to essentials! Since I already had much of the kit in my stash I was okay with it. It's nice stuff though!

I was surprised to see my shipping notice...at 2am!
If you had told me the names of the two extra kits this month I would have said just send me the baseball kit now and don't bother with the one that sounds like it's for little boys because my boys are 12 & 14 and one plays a lot of baseball. However, when I looked at the kits I ended up ordering the little boys one and skipping the baseball one! I did get some of the baseball extras, but I didn't care for most of the kit (still don't like the vintage stuff) and I really don't want the PL cards with their round corners.

I got the little boy one and the teenager one. I have 6 boys and I don't really need as much pink and florals as are on the market right now. I will be paying more attention to them as a company. I saw an unboxing and I was so impressed with everything in the kit. I really wasn't able to do a lot of purchasing from about 2006-2017 because we were so poor in med school and residency, so I missed the flair, woodveneer, doilies, cut a parts, thickers, project life and ephemera trends. As a result kits with all these kinds of goodies are good for my stash which is mostly just paper and cardstock.
I wouldn't feel guilty about ordering things. These ladies are trying to have a viable business, I'm sure they appreciate the patronage. A lot of people are grateful for the work, and if they are comfortable with the precautions put in place by their employers, I say let them work. I'm not going to feel bad about trying to keep some sense of normalcy for myself and my kiddos. If I was sick or my loved ones were sick I wouldn't expect anyone to curb their online buying. I'd just want some long distance hugs and I'm sure most people feel the same.

I should add before anyone jumps down my throat about suggesting it's ok to let people work...my husband is a physician and we as a family are on the front lines. Just like all the grocery store people and truckers who bring the food. We have a sweet 5 year old with DS and a heart condition and are well aware of the risks. It doesn't change my opinion about online shopping though.
I met with my pediatrician two days ago and he said their office is already seeing an upswing in domestic violence cases and it's only been a few weeks. There are serious side effects to confining people to their houses and if a little online shopping helps by bringing a sense of something to look forward to, then I don't think people should stop, unless it is negatively impacting their budget. If the businesses feel safe and the employees feel safe offering their services then I say why not?

It is April 1st and they are already sold out of two of their kits. I'm bummed.
