I did a little playing with paper this weekend. Felt good. When I think of base pages, boymom5 and joblackford, I am reminded of a drawer full of LO's I created during our monthly CTMH classes from a few years ago. I put those pages together, but if I didn't think of photos/title/journaling right away when I got home, the pages just languished in that drawer... I HAVE done baby albums that way, though--did a double page spread for each month/holiday/season, and left spots for the moms to fill in the photos and journaling later. |

I did some digital scrapping this afternoon and got so bogged down I wondered why I do it at all. Sigh. I'm not sure if that's just a sign of being tired today, or if it means something more, but maybe tomorrow I should get back to making cards!

I foolishly believed that when Joann dot com said my package would arrive Monday 20th that it might actually arrive this week! When will I learn that the FedEx slow truck will never get anything here on time? It looks like I have another week to wait...
Anyone else waiting on happy mail?

grammadee I wasn't a fan of base pages before since like yours mine would just sit there unused. But I'm feeling so uninspired and on top of it I just don't want to edit pictures. So far of the 24 base pages I've made this month, I've found use for 20 of them! I'm getting some older pictures from 2014 that have been sitting around untouched since 2014 done! joblackford I haven't been ordering things lately, but DH said I should grab some things the other day. I ended up putting in an order from scrapbook generation that pushed me over to get the free shipping and now I'm waiting for that...but I also had one of my sweet boys wanting to get me scrapbook things for my birthday in a few weeks. I may just have DH use what I ordered for my gift and wait even longer.

I just ordered some Tim Holtz stamps that are pretty far from my usual style, but I have specific projects in mind for them, both for Father's Day and both punny. So I'm hoping I can pull them off! I'm not a big fan of mixed media generally, and definitely not grungey stuff - I didn't get any of the muddy colors in Distress Oxides because they just don't "spark joy" at all. So I'm hoping that I can use his stamps with brighter watercolors and a cleaner style. I watched tons of YT videos yesterday that convinced me I can do it!

So it is the start of the last week in April, and my "production" for the month has been a grand total of 7 pages and 3 cards. Have yet to add up my points for any of them. Need to start on that today.
My dd's family is back until Monday, so not alot of crafty time for Gramma!

Oh man, it's already time to sign up for next month?! On one hand this month has taken forever, but also where has the time gone? I know some people are channeling a lot of energy into crafty stuff right now and others have no energy or mojo at all. I'm somewhere in between... I need to post some pictures of the rainbow granny square blanket I'm joining up in the evenings - I'm almost done with the joining and then just need to add some kind of border and it's done!
Today I'm procrastinating on sympathy cards... and photographing and listing cards for my shop, which has been much busier than usual (usual being not busy at all!)
My husband just ventured out to Costco - rather him than me! So I have a little bit of time to myself. Going to blast some music or an audiobook and see what I can get started before lunch.
How is everyone? Should I be tagging you? -shrug- I don't want anyone to feel obligated to chat but I hope everyone is doing ok...

I am the worst at keeping up with the chat. I want to do it, IDK what happens to me lol. I am doing ok. I am still working and we are working OT. So, financially I am awesome, but I am tired. I got several l/o done this month so I am super happy about that. My total for the month btw is 529 . I sent off an order to Persnickity Prints that I am hoping to get before NSD. I have all weekend off and I am going to disregard the housework that needs to be done and just enjoy  |

teacherlisa that's OK - I am hopeless as keeping up with comments on the sharing thread! And you're really busy. I'm impressed that you got so much done even with working overtime and all the exhaustion that must come with that. I hope people are being safe and sensible in your part of the country... Good luck with your NSD plans! We'll have a chat going on on the boards and online hangouts if you're into that. The housework can and will wait. I guess I better start calculating my own points soon...
