Oh hey, I'm in charge of setting up this chat this month! That's why no one has done it yet... doh! Welcome team! patin gramma boymom5 natscraps teacherlisa KikiPea christinec68 gmcwife1 sleepingbooty grammadee I hope we have a good month, whatever that looks like these days. Let us know what your status is, what you're working on, what you're looking forward to, whether you have enough adhesive to last the month, what we can do to help each other. I'm stocked on adhesive and still able to get deliveries, trying not to shop, generally business as usual around my house (mostly. I'm lucky.) I'm splitting my time between cardmaking, digital pages, crochet, reading, gardening, housework, and learning how to use Procreate.

Hello all! I'm running super low on adhesive but still a little bit at home so I might make it through April?... *knocks on wood* My printer ink is on the way! So happy. Deliveries are super slow in France right now but I should have it on Saturday. I also ordered some new ink + paper for my Selphy photo printer and that'll be delivered at the same time. I'm so excited! Loads of half-finished pages in my Project Life right now waiting for some journaling to be printed. Looking forward to finishing these up so I can start with a new colour scheme for April. Life documenting for April: I'm going to try and snap some photos of our grocery pick-up order, hopefully some photos of sunshine filling the living room, our first month of Disney+ subscription when it is finally available in France (the government asked Disney to postpone until April 7, eep!), a day or week in the confinement life (depending on how much time I can spare for it). On the way: Kelly Purkey birthday sale order but it's taking forever, it's been in international transit for a week now when the hand-over between the USPS and French La Poste usually takes around 48h. Oh well, as long as it eventually gets here, it's fine.

Hi! I am still finishing up the old scrapbook room organization lol. We just got put on 12 hr shifts at work, so working on that has been put on the back burner for the most part. I am working on a covid--19 TN, and I have a photo order coming this weekend and it looks like I will have some fun things to scrap (day trips and regular life stuff) I have more than enough adhesive, and other supplies so I am totally good there. I have found a lot of things I forgot I had so I am excited to use them. joblackford where are you learning Procreate? Are you self taught? It is a goal of mine this year, but I have not put any effort into it as of yet.

Good afternoon Joyful Scrappers! I received a couple of glue glider refill cartridges this week, so whew!
Not as much time to play with paper, as I have some extra family members here for the next couple of weeks. We are home schooling a hyper active 7 year old and I am taking photos for that, so will have some to scrap.
I want to make Easter cards with him to send to his cousins. Need to get on that tomorrow.
Being driven crazy by gnomes.... are they related to gremlins? I had purchased Tula & Norbert earlier, but couldn’t find it when I wanted it last week. Today I was looking for something else and found the collection tucked away with some other things I had had out earlier. I checked to see if there were any stamps or dies or diecuts in with the collection (where I often store related items). Nope! So I emailed the LSS to order Tulsa & Norbert’s summer adventure stuff and to see if they had the garden T&N dies & stamps in stock...
The LSS lady responded to tell me I ALREADY OWN the stamps and dies. So I thought maybe I stored these with the Christmas gnome stamps and dies I had picked up in January. And Now I cant find ANY OF THE GNOME STAMPS AND DIES!!! I tell ya they are trying to drive me crazy, and it is feeling like a very short drive...

where are you learning Procreate? Are you self taught? It is a goal of mine this year, but I have not put any effort into it as of yet. I'm mostly just playing around and practicing to get a feel for it at the moment but I've been watching YouTube video tutorials by Bardot Brush. She teaches how to use the program but also how to actually DRAW, both in a really straightforward accessible way. I learned how to select things and move them around and change their size this week. Very handy! What kind of work do you do? We'll be thinking of you putting in those long hours... Hope you get some play time soon! (My laptop thinks it's funny to disconnect from the wifi when I press the button to submit. It's wearing on me... I fixed it last year but something has made it start doing it again and I'm ready to throw it out the window. Let's see if the 3rd times the charm. At least I'm learning to copy my writing before I try to press enter )

That would've been such a bummer to spend the money on them again. I hope you claim organizing points for the time you spend looking for them! And more importantly that you find them!

Hi ladies!!
I’ve been feeling a little blue lately but I’m hoping the sun will help pull me out of my funk! I’m still working on cards and they are a great escape from what is going on outside.

Hi Joyful Ones! I HAVE to get motivated to scrap my graduating senior granddaughter's scrapbook. But first I want to finish my card kits. With any luck at all, they should be done this week. Take good care of yourselves. I'll look forward to your projects!

Wooohooo, for I think the first time ever, I have used an entire pack of patterned paper. Now it was only 12 sheets, but I finally finished it today and ended up with a total of 50 cards out of my $2.99 purchase! I did use 2 sheets of another 12x12 patterned paper from my stash that matched, card stock for layering and bits from 2 or 3 6x6 sheets of misc pp.

Last month I didn't do too much, but I challenged myself to use up some of my kits. I ended up using up the paper to just small scraps of three Hip Kits and just put the leftover thickers and embellishments in my supply. It feels good to get these used up since I have so many. I ended up canceling all of my subs except for Elle's Studio because they weren't being used.
Things have not slowed down at all for me even in isolation! I miss my breaks and down time.

Yay!! That's a great yield for such a small investment.

I am well stocked on adhesive and craft supplies. I might need some printer ink but I should be able to get through the month. The 100 Day Project starts this week and I decided to keep it simple and work on something creative every day - it can be making layouts, cards, working on a class, listing stories I want to tell or finishing up half done projects. I briefly contemplated finishing up unfinished projects but that felt so limiting and I know I would want to work on new projects between now and July 15th, which happens to be my mother's 80th birthday so it's easy to remember. My company has scheduled holidays this month, which I hope are still in place, so I'll have some extra time to scrapbook and other things. It feels dumb to say I need the break, but I am looking forward to it. joblackford - it sounds like you have a lot keeping you busy. I hope you can get your computer to work properly again. There are certain files I use for work that always give me a problem and have learned the hard way to save, save, save. sleepingbooty - did your printer ink arrive on Saturday? I hope you can get by with the adhesive you have on hand. teacherlisa - I hope your photo order arrived. It's fun to get new pics to work with. I've been contemplating doing a TN for covid-19 also. You do such important work...thank you grammadee - that is so frustrating when you can't find something you know you have. Thanks for inspiring me to make some Easter cards. I'll do that tomorrow night so I can get them in the mail to family on Tuesday. Good luck with homeschooling. gmcwife1 - ((hugs))) it's a hard time for everyone. But look at you with making all those cards!! From what I can see, they look beautiful!! patin - have fun with the card kits and good luck working on the album! boymom5 - good for you using up kits!!

I spent all afternoon making masks today. It cheered me a little to know that I could claim points for other crafts, especially given how slowly I sew. Has anyone else found this simple sewing project quite (emotionally?) difficult? I got 7 made but it took about 6 hours! I’m hoping to do paper crafting tomorrow and spend a bit more time doing digital scrapping.

My goodness! You have been BUSY, teacherlisa! I am working on ONE Easter card which so far has taken me two days LOL. Got my April SSS kit and some extras I ordered, so have some papers and dies I want to play with. Just very little time to play on my own. And no energy when I DO have time. But I should have my card finished by Easter...

Today was mostly a bust. It would've been nice to get into a groove doing something - gardening or crafting - since the sun was out and I had plenty of energy. But somehow the day is almost done and I only got a couple of smaller tasks done (photographing and listing a card, writing a couple of notecards, delivering a couple of things) plus a few routine things. Better than nothing, to be sure, and it wasn't a bad day. But looking back on the day I'm not sure where most of it disappeared to!

Wow teacherlisa, you've been busy! They look great! Well this month so far is a bust. I've done 1 page and made 1 mask... Does natural journaling and doing school projects with my kids count? Cause we are doing that quite a bit.

During the iso-times every time we come up to a weekend I say to myself in a Downton Abbey Dowager Countess voice “week-end...? What is a week-end?” So, fwiw, are you going to be crafting this “week-end”? I’ve been playing with some cards that I need to photograph and share. I am going to try to finish some Mother’s Day cards this weekend.

I finished some birthday cards this morning, just needed to adhere the sentiment. But then I was having a hard time getting inspired. Thought I might switch to Christmas cards, but then I found the perfect sentiment for my cards. Now I’m ready to go again! Found this little gem in an Altenew set and it’s perfect for my soldier cards!

I haven't quite decided what I should be doing today...

I just ordered some new supplies to make a Virus Diary/scrapbook. I was debating whether to do it as a digital book, but I already have a couple of digital projects going. I think I'm going to make a hybrid album for this one. I ordered the Heidi Swapp Storyline Chapters scrapbook inserts and an album. Have you seen these? I love this style of album with the metal bars that hold your Traveler's Notebooks - I have a smaller one for my full notebooks already. It keeps the system more compact on the shelf but still pretty easy to leaf through. The inserts are basically just big Traveler's Notebooks - I think they're 7.5"x9 or something like that. Closer to 8x10, which is a comfortable size for me. Big enough that I can fit 4x6 landscape photos into it! That's the worst thing about TN for me - too narrow for normal photos. So I'm starting to plan my book now. Processing all the stuff that's been going on the past couple of months.
Does anyone else have a new project they're working on? Or supplies in the mail? I was very restrained - I almost threw everything in my cart to justify the shipping, but I'd rather support smaller outfits than Joann Fabrics right now. And I'm not sure I need any MORE projects to work on anyway.

joblackford I've tried doing different sized albums, but I just can't seem to get it. I guess I'm a creature of habit and will stick to my 12 x 12 albums. No new projects really here, although I"ve been make a bunch of base pages. I think I have 25 done and then I've made another 14 complete pages this month. The great thing about the base pages is that they have helped me get some old papers out of my stash and I am started to envision which pictures to use with them! So I"m make some progress!

boymom5 that sounds like great progress! I love the idea that you’re uncovering those older papers from your stash and getting them onto pages. Until recently I would never have imagined making base pages - it never even occurred to me when I was a traditional scrapper that I might make pages and add photos to them later. But lately I’ve really enjoyed watching a YT channel where the person makes a series of base pages out of a paper kit. She does an amazing job of turning a few sheets of paper into several coordinating base pages and it seems like a really efficient way to use the paper and embellishment to the max. I still don’t know if I could ever make them myself but I like watching her do it!
