I had to share this gorgeous grid layout that I just found.

From those you showed I'm a block and a half and half person. I have another one I love which is a strip across the lower bottom and photos clustered above that line.

I gravitate towards blocks a lot, sometimes on an actual block of paper, but often just a blocked group of photos and words and embellishment. My other go is a band design. Interestingly I thought these would both be driven by the number of photos (I think the T designs work better with fewer photos), but even when I've only used one 4x6 on a 12x12 I still fall back on the block design.
There are some gorgeous pages in the links you shared and now I'm feeling all inspired to scraplift!

I tend to rely on grids a lot. It's an easy way to get a whole lot of photos on a page

I know I use blocks a lot, esp. when I have a lot of photos. I need to remember to try the half and half style more often though. Thanks for posting these!

Thanks, Elsabelle. I miss Get It Scrapped. I use all of those patterns, but none of them consistently. If I had to pick one it would be the band one b/c I try to have my photos flow across from one page to the other in a two page LO. But I don't feel I have to do that every time. I like seeing examples that help me organize the lines and layers of my design. That is a beautiful grid you found, too.

I enjoyed the links. I would guess band for me. I did get some good ideas though to take me into some other design styles. I'm drawn to grids but rarely use them.

Love all these ideas! Thank you for sharing.
I tend to create on the diagonal, with the focus being on the bottom 1/3 of the page along the diagonal line.
