Kyle Griffin...
”The Trump admin's decision to let states chart their own responses to coronavirus rather than impose a national strategy will cost thousands of lives and is likely to result in an open-ended outbreak rolling across the U.S., a dozen experts told NBC News.”
From the very beginning it should have been a national response because of how quickly this virus spreads. Instead where in some states new cases will peak then go down, other states haven’t even come close to peaking. Which means it will take that much longer for this virus to subside.
Another example of trump #MAGA.

Gavin Newsom tweeted this morning...
”In times of crisis, it’s more important than ever we are the UNITED States of America. CA is answering the call for Americans in NY and across the country, loaning 500 state-owned ventilators to those in need. I know, if the tables were turned, other states would be there for us.”
”CA will continue to prepare and secure the equipment we need to keep our fellow Californians healthy while standing with other states in their moments of need.”
trump tweeted this morning..
”Advertising in the Failing New York Times is WAY down. Washington Post is not much better. I can’t say whether this is because they are Fake News sources of information, to a level that few can understand, or the Virus is just plain beating them up. Fake News is bad for America!”.
“Joe Biden wanted the date for the Democrat National Convention moved to a later time period. Now he wants a “Virtual” Convention, one where he doesn’t have to show up. Gee, I wonder why? Also, what ever happened to that phone call he told the Fake News he wanted to make to me?”
To the 26 who answered no to the poll question, I wish one or more of you would venture over and tell us why you don’t think this guy will go down in history as the worst president ever. I just want to understand what you are seeing that I’m not.

Kyle Griffin...
”Health insurers were prepped for the Trump administration to reopen Obamacare enrollment. HHS officials were largely on board, but the White House refused to reopen enrollment. The announcement never came.”
This shows you how petty and vindictive trump is. He doesn’t want anything to make the ACA look good, even if it means denying folks a chance to get healthcare coverage during this pandemic.
And yes I know there is a report that the Feds will pick up the medical costs from the coronavirus for the uninsured.
Chances are, once these folks got coverage and the pandemic ends they would not cancel the coverage but keep it. And trump can’t have that because it goes against is narrative that the ACA is bad.

Mark Twain is attributed as saying, "It is easier to fool people than to convince them they were fooled."
Yes. He is the worst president. I surely hope he will not be re-elected, but we have a lot of uneducated people in this country who believe what they are told, apparently. I would have a lot more faith in Republicans if they said that they hated Trump and he was a horrible person, but they would rather have a horrible person than a Democrat in office. I just do not understand how anyone can think that Trump is truthful and good.

I really, really wish the 40% of people who voted NO (because if you don’t want to talk about it, it’s probably because you know it’s TRUE) had the balls to come defend him. I want to know who actually watches the daily press briefing and comes away thinking how proud they are to have that petulant child as their leader.

That will never happen. They are spineless and know what fools they are. They don't even have the self respect to use their original screen name and stand by what they supposedly believe in.They slink back here to make sure the polls on trump have pro votes, but they have no balls to state why. Even they know he's a disaster but will never ever admit they were wrong. That would make them people with integrity and they just aren't nor will they ever be.

I was pretty much ignoring the idiots daily press conference until this..
Daniel Dale..
”Trump says the Democrats "shouldn't be allowed to win" the election because of how good a job he's done. He says they were "artificially stopped" by the virus.”
Good job that he’s done. Really? His incompetence is and will continue to cost lives.
I have no words for “shouldn’t be allowed to win”.
He’s got to go.

I am technologically challenged and don't know how to link this but if you can find this on YouTube
Jordan Klepper vs. Trump Supporters (Trevor Noah The Daily Show)
This is a perfect example as to why people still support Trump, especially if you consider that your supporters are the best of you.

I just want to understand what you are seeing that I’m not. 3 years ago I might have been on the fence. I mean Buchanan was pretty bad, & pretty corrupt. I can think of very few redeeming qualities of James Buchanan However, Trump has far surpassed the known corruption of the Buchanan administration at this point - without even taking the pandemic and his lack of response to it into consideration. When this is all over he just may eclipse Buchanan’s complete inadequacy prior to the Civil war and truly own the title of worst president ever.

Remember what his motto is Make America Great Again
Could he have made America any worse !!! I can’t believe it took me this long to figure it out. Because America WAS (key word: WAS) already great *before* he took office, he had to make things impossibly BAD in order to have a goal to work toward, making it great AGAIN, like it was before this nightmare. At this point we’ll be lucky to pull ourselves even halfway back to where we were prior to this dumpster fire of an administration. Heaven help us.

He isn't quite as bad as Hitler and I think there have been quite a few pretty horrible leaders/rulers in other countries over the centuries. But he is by far the worst the US has had and I hope nobody else that comes after him is any worse.

" A top White House adviser starkly warned Trump administration officials in late January that the coronavirus crisis could cost the United States trillions of dollars and put millions of Americans at risk of illness or death. The warning, written in a memo by Peter Navarro, President Trump’s trade adviser, is the highest-level alert known to have circulated inside the West Wing as the administration was taking its first substantive steps to confront a crisis that had already consumed China’s leaders and would go on to upend life in Europe and the United States. “The lack of immune protection or an existing cure or vaccine would leave Americans defenseless in the case of a full-blown coronavirus outbreak on U.S. soil,” Mr. Navarro’s memo said. “This lack of protection elevates the risk of the coronavirus evolving into a full-blown pandemic, imperiling the lives of millions of Americans.” Dated Jan. 29, it came during a period when Mr. Trump was playing down the risks to the United States, and he would later go on to say that no one could have predicted such a devastating outcome." www.nytimes.com/2020/04/06/us/politics/navarro-warning-trump-coronavirus.html

”Trump: “We really inherited bad tests. These are horrible tests. And it was broken.”
Epidemiologists:
“Doesn’t make sense.”
“Absurd.”
“He is lying because he is trying to shift blame to others, even if the attempt is totally nonsensical.”
Its kind of hard to have “broken” tests or any tests for that matter for a virus that didn’t exist during the Obama Administration.

If there were 0 votes for “no” and “oh please! Can we talk about something else”, I would have had tiny bit of hope that we don’t have to deal with this circus for four more years.
The fact that there are total 50 people(when I checked last) that think he is awesome or don’t care....me thinks we will have to deal with him till 2024.
I wish stupidity hurt these people worse than the virus

It's a tar and feathering even without them. I would love to have an honest and open conversation with those that voted no, but that won't happen here. They know they will be vilified, no matter what they say.

I would also like to know why some people think he’s not the worst. Is it that you don’t think he will be named the absolute worst (that there’s another president that is worse than Trump?), or is it that you think he’s done a good job?
I have a lot of extended family members (and some friends) who are super trump supporters. From what they are posting on Facebook it is that they are overlooking the most recent things (with the denial and downplaying of the severity and reality of the coronavirus), and keeping their love focused solidly on what he sort of says during his daily press conferences. They are also solidly in the camp that main stream media isn’t giving him a fair shake and that they are just being mean to him with their questions. I can understand that to an extent because some questions are “gotcha!” Questions and some are stupid. But a lot are some valid points and solid questions that need answering. And I can’t figure out how you can get to a point of support where you ignore the fact that the president refuses to answer basic questions about where the PPE is, why some shipments are being taken and redirected, why the financials aren’t being extended to the people that need them, etc.

They used to be here, to be involved in the conversations but now they'd probably say they were run off the board but I think that's disingenuous. Many were pretty vocal and not afraid to speak their minds so why are they suddenly unable to do that now? My guess is it's pretty hard to defend the indefensible and not that they can't give as good as they get.
