I go on my social media and see my friends and family baking and cooking and being SO productive...... We're barely getting by! I think I'm wiped out over DH's medical stuff the past month, so I haven't been cooking as much. I broke a new barrier for low weight, so now have to begin getting in that kitchen.........
Is this happening with other Peas?? Even DH has lost 20 lbs since he was in the ICU and back home. I think we're just exhausted.

Not losing weight because apparently I don't do that... but I'm definitely eating less as there are limited snacks in the house and I'm not motivated to be in the kitchen anymore than I already am. I am sure I will make up for all the snacking I'm not doing when this is over times ten.

I'm eating more often. I'm considering wearing my mask in the house to make it harder to eat.

This has triggered my bad eating habits unlike anything else in my life. I don't feel super stressed over the virus per say but from the impacts on my job--I'm an accountant. Having to deal with forecasting and then figuring out the Paycheck Protection Plan last week is 30 minutes or less has been crazy!!

I'm just not hungry any more, so I'm not eating much and have lost some weight. I'm usually a stress eater, so this is very different for me.

I'm eating more often. I'm considering wearing my mask in the house to make it harder to eat. That's a good idea! I didn't eat much the first few days, because I didn't want to run out of food. But after learning the grocery stores would probably stay open, I started eating more! But now with the economy so scary, I worry about furlough, etc., so I think I will cut back again. Such a scary time!

I've been losing weight since lockdown and I have zero idea why. I'm working out less, and I'm eating more. Maybe stress is burning a bunch of extra calories.

I got a wild hair and decided to remote train with my old trainer from years ago. He gave me a food plan and a workout to follow. I started two weeks ago right in the middle of all of this chaos and I have lost five pounds. I have 40 more to go. I am walking two miles a day four days a week and doing short 25 minute weight workouts.

I should be losing weight!
I bought very few snack/junk food items, bought lots of veggies and have been cooking lighter and eating smaller portions.
Also, been on the treadmill for a minimum of 30 minutes a day for three weeks. Last week I started also walking on the treadmill for webinars, training videos etc. I also started to walk 3 km most evenings.
I have lost MAYBE 1/2 a pound.
I figure I’m really building some serious muscle or the dreaded “menopausal weight loss, that’s a laugh” condition is true!

I normally watch what I eat, but I can't quite think of cooking my normal dinners, etc....... Been grabbing a yogurt and considering it a meal. Thank God DH has Carnation Instant Breakfast powder to mix and I make him a shake if I see he hasn't eaten. This is weird.
Hope you find things to eat that get you by! Protein shakes are a good thing to make.

I'm eating less, but I it's because I recently started taking Ozempic to treat my diabetes. One of the side effects is a slower rate of digestion. I'm full for longer periods of time, so I'm just not hungry. And I've lost a few pounds, but nothing substantial. I've always been a stress eater, so this is a real change for me. My doctor will run my numbers next month and we'll see if it's made a difference.

I’m not sure - I’m scared to weigh myself - can’t handle the additional stress!

I'm losing weight but it's from actually eating more. I had terrible eating habits before this. And I know from past behavior that left to my own devices without some sort of schedule I would do even worse. So I have been making a point of eating at regular times, eating enough at regular times and attempting (failing miserably) to eat a little better. Incorporating more calories has done me a world of good.

Yes, because I'm home so I'm cooking healthily rather than getting takeaways. DH is the worst for takeaways but because we've been isolating, we can't just pop out for food, so it's lots of soups and home cooking. I think I've lost 3.5lbs in a couple of weeks.

Yes, I have. It started when I retired. I think it was because I started eating a real breakfast and lunch, not just junk at my desk.
Now, I am just less hungry. I've also been on my treadmill 30 minutes every day.

I'm losing weight because we aren't eating out. I knew it was bad for my weight but wow. I'm not eating what I'd call particularly healthy, but apparently it's better than eating out.
Also going for a long walk each day so I'm sure that has to help. But I wouldn't think it would be more than I walk in a normal day with work, errands, etc.

I don't weigh myself but I definitely feel stronger and more fit than I did before this started. It's amazing how much more exercise you can get in when you're not going to work every day. I also notice my belly seems, um, less round. 😂
We're eating fairly well and I skip breakfast most days (following a general daily fast from 8 PM - 12 PM the next day).

I am a mess of food insecurity and control issues, serious anxiety running, and historically shedding weight when stressed - even when I don’t realize it. This time in life (coronavirus plus so much else right now) has sucked healthy patterns right out the window. I look like absolute hell, and it’s so disheartening. However, my brain has a way of telling myself that I’m fine and I don’t feel the stress.
Sometimes being self aware of having a decent amount of counseling under my belt makes me sound crazy! I’m trying to hold it all in place and let it go at the same time.
So we made fudge yesterday and I had four pieces for breakfast! We never have snacks in the house. Wheeeee! But my exact meals are planned for the rest of the week. I will go out and run until I am exhausted then come home and do some yoga to zen out.
And I probably didn’t answer the question!

Still losing, which started back in January when I was really sick with pneumonia. I lost about 8 lbs from that. I didn't eat much then and it cured my sugar addiction because I just wasn't hungry for anything! However, I did start eating more sugary treats recently and my skin has freaked out over that, so I am going to cut back again. My cravings are nothing like they were back in the fall/winter when treats were everywhere..
I also am exercising at least 4 days a week via my fitness studio. Virtual classes are totally improving my mood. I can already see more toning in my arms and core. Because all classes are now online, I can do the workouts without having to get a sitter or wait until my kids are with their dad. I've also started taking bike rides which I like more than walks because it's way easier to avoid people.

I definitely am noticing some unusual eating patterns for me.
I’m eating smaller meals, and my appetite seems to come in waves. I’ll have days where I have very little appetite and then the next day I feel the urge to snack all day.
My meal planning has gone out the window with the sporadic grocery trips, so my day doesn’t revolve around food.
I’m skipping breakfast because I’m waking up later.
I don’t feel like I’ve lost many lbs., but my occasionally snug jeans are fitting me just fine.

I’ve lost at least 10 pounds. I’m more aware of being bored (rather than hungry) and am very conscious of the potential difficulty in future shopping.
I’m now in self quarantine at a hotel in NC, so I’m limited to the freeze dried goods I brought with me. I did put in an Instacart order to be delivered today, hot wings are on the list along with potato wedges. I’m going to pig out if I actually receive them!

I've lost a few pounds, my appetite isn't great. And I'm deliberately not ordering much junk food so that we can maintain a healthy diet to keep inflammation down and our immune systems functioning well.

Yep, I'm a celebratory eater and tend to really enjoy food a LOT when I'm happy and feeling good. Now? Food is "meh" at best... I’m a non eater stresser. So I’ve actually lost about 10 lbs.

I have not weighed myself but I know I have lost at least 5 lbs in this past two weeks. This is not a surprise as I cannot eat during stressful times, When my dad died in a car accident I lost 15 lbs in a month due to the stress. When I was going through fertility treatments I was thinner than I was during high school due to the stress.
