Hi....I'd love to hear what y'all thought of this past Wed's epi (Oct. 22) but also---I'd appreciate someone telling me about the LAST FEW MINUTES---please! My DVR cut off, and I am having trouble watching it on FX online.... Here's where mine cut off....that guy with the two faces had just watched Jessica Lange sing, and he showed up at Kathy Bate's trailer....WHAT HAPPENED NEXT? THANKS!

He told the beards lady that she was his chosen victim. She cried and begged for her life but he said once the face decides that's it. But that it had some questions it had to ask her to be sure she was the right one. The questions were basically tell me your life story as a carny. She talked about how she had been in a previous show with this great act-she surrounded herself with gorgeous women with feathers hiding her. Some they smiled at the audience and looked lovely, and then they would pull back the feathers revealing the bearded lady. She said it dared the audience to then look at anyone else on stage but her. Then she would sing or recite a soliloquy, or whatever. She said it was always a bit of the night. Well the owner of the show convinced her to go to Paris, where she would do the same thing. So she did, but that audience didn't want to see a beaded lady recite Shakespeare on stage and she was booed and had vegetables thrown at her. She was kicked out of the show and sent back to America.
Edward thanks her for sharing, but the face whispers that that's not her darkest secret, and they need to hear more. So she tells them how when she was pregnant she couldn't get work in her condition, and that they were absolutely penniless. So her boyfriend, The Strong Man, arranges a different kind of show for her/them to make money. She is in labor, and the "show" is to watch a "Live Freak Birth". There is like a little lemonade-type stand set up on the side of some dirt road where The Strong Man is collecting money, and sending them over to where the Bearded Lady is in active labor. They're all just standing there watching her as she gives birth to her son. The baby is born, and The Strong Man immediately grabs him after he's been wrapped in a towel and is frantically pushing him towards people shouting "hold the freak baby, just 2 cents!" While this is going on he camera cuts back to the Bearded Lady and she is just crying, but not trying to stop it from happening.
She tells Edward that that is her most dark secret. That her son has been exploited every single day of his life, and that he doesn't know anything different. She is very upset about this, and is crying. Again Edward thanks her for being truthful, and the face whispers something to him. She says something along the line of, "ok the , I'm ready. Let's get this over with", and you hear a loud voice different from Edwards hiss, "She's not the one!" When the Bearded Lady looks up she finds her trailer to be empty. Edward has gone in search of someone else.

pierkiss....WOW!! THANK YOU for such a GREAT explanation!!! myshelly----whoa! Thank you, too! I didn't realize that! Our DVR is MANUALLY set, and once I noticed the premiere cut off, I set the recording to go an hour and ten minutes for epi two-----(yknow how MANY of these types of shows have an annoying way of ending at 5 or 6 minutes after the hour--ugh---) But now I see I have obviously missed A LOT !! I wasn't honestly wasn't THAT into it the show before, so I didn't care that much---but now i do

Yikes you have missed a lot!
Yep, they've all been 90 mins.
I think they're available online though.
I've never thought about it since I set my DVR by the show and not the time (don't have to set it manually). What a pain!
