Hello everyone!!! Today is the first Tuesday of the month and Alicia (callmecraftyal) has her April's sheetloads of card video up on youtube. I know probably a lot of us already knows her. I always wanted to play along with her and I thought it would be a great challenge for us. youtu.be/tCcQzFRIr70youtu.be/9FovQ5nw2N0Have fun!!

Thanks for the challenge and the link, azcrafty! And I love what you did with it. Your colours and patterns go really well together and I like how the sentiments over lap the cirles. The bold black really adds some pop.

Thank you. I watched the first video but the second one just gives me 4.5 minutes of a commercial that isn't even for my country. Is it supplementary to the first one or different? Do I need to watch it?
Your cards are much prettier than the ones in the video!

Thank you😊. Usually I don't like her color combos my style is different, but I love her sketches and I'm starting to use more patterned papers. The second video is her showing the process of making the cards not necessary to watch. One of her disegn team members is Chesley and I always love her take on the sketch. youtu.be/qOvIiuiYdH4

Wow-these were so easy and fast! I might do a sentiment on some of them, but here is a sneaky trick...the top two layers are Project Life sized..so if you have (oh let me see, six billion) *some* unused PL cards laying around, you can use them for the top two layers. I had already #loveitchopit -ed a ton of 12x12 paper that I was never going to use for scrapbooking, so I used that as the first layer. Wow, 6 cards in like 15 min. Thanks azcrafty ! Your cards are amazing btw, such lovely colors. Mine kinda make your eyes hurt, but at least they are cheerful and I used up 12 PL cards in one go!

@kendramage I love your suggestion about using up PL cards. I think I have some somewhere 😉. Love your cheerful cards. And thank you for playing.

AZ Crafty, I like your version better than the original cards in the video. I like your twine and your larger sentiment.
kendramage, using Project Life cards is absolutely brilliant! And that top card of yours is adorable!

I never did PL but someone gave me a load of cards. I gave them away in January after some years. Ah well!

I had to switch the sound off as soon as she said "go ahead and..." as that is my particular hot-potato about card tutorials, but she did well - she got all the way to 1 and a half minutes in! (I still prefer yours)

Someone has been making my life miserable for the last week. I wasn’t sleeping, had zero creativity, but now that things have settled down, I realized that I knew what papers I wanted to use for this challenge. Is it too late to join in? Anyway, I only did one card, because I fussy cut and popped a design from the paper instead of doing a stamped sentiment (lower right corner). I used Graphic 45’s Midnight Masquerade papers for my card:

I hope that 'someone' is behaving better. Your card is lovely scrapnnana. Love the colors and the design on the paper and that is a very impressive fussy cutting.

That someone is behaving......for now. I’m enjoying the peace. Thank you, I’m glad you like my card. I’ve had the paper for awhile and didn’t know what to do with it until your challenge.

I used Graphic 45’s Midnight Masquerade papers for my card: I LOVE this!!! I have some G45 paper I don't know what to do with, this might be the perfect thing. I really think this type of card LO is a keeper, it uses lots of pattern paper, and you can really use some busy stuff with the layering. scrapnnana, your card is beautiful, and I am so sorry that things were miserable. (((hugs))) I hope they get a bit better.
