I'd go silver. I wouldn't buy navy unless I had the dress with me - I'm always amazed by how different shades of navy are

Never do all of one colour in an outfit, it's extremely outdated and a little bit naff.

Navy was the color of my wedding. I had suggested silver shoes that could be worn again. One bridesmaid wore her shoes from my wedding to hers a year later and again as a guest to another.
Unless you get the shoes dyed to match, navy blue can be hard to match.

Another vote for silver. Would it be possible for the shop owner to have the dress shipped to you? Even if you have to bring it back to her later for alterations, at least you would have it in your possession so you could see what any shoes you order online look like with it.

Navy is one of the most difficult colors to match, in my experience.
I’d do the silver. If it’s formal and your dress is long, I think a glimpse of silver would look good.
I don’t like black with navy, so wouldn’t do that. I’d do a neutral beige or taupe before doing black.

I vote silver. I wore silver shoes to DS's wedding. You can filter by size and color on Zappos.com. I ordered 5 pair and picked one. It's free shipping both ways.

My sons wedding was supposed to be May 1st. My dress is navy and my shoes are navy. Wedding is now scheduled for July but they are having a small marriage ceremony in two days and I have no idea what I’m wearing to it. I am sorry they had to reschedule. I hope they still have an amazing day in July.
