As one teenager said to me a long time ago "I need to be entertained". Yes, I am going a little stir crazy so I am asking the peas to please help entertain me. So if you are having an extra large thin crust pizza, how do you cut it? Do not be afraid to convince me that your way is the only correct way to cut a pizza and if done any differently you are just wrong and should never be allowed pizza again.

I don’t like it cut into squares because then some people are stuck with the crappy mostly crust edge pieces and some people get the good all the topping center pieces, whereas if you cut it into triangles everyone gets their fair, equally distributed share.

Well, is it a round pie or another shape?
Round pie = ‘triangle’ shape with 1 curved edge
Square or rectangle pie = square or rectangle pieces. And yes thin crust can be a rectangle ‘pie’ especially if it’s a ‘tomato pie’ which some think isn’t quite a pizza but it’s a pizza

I think it depends on the size of the pizza. If I can get crust to hold on to on any piece, then it is coll to cut it however. Or if none of it has a crust, then any way is fine. Otherwise, triangles with crust please

Squares. Not sure why I like it that way, but thin crust I do. I love the crispy crust pieces, and I also love the center peices. They’re like my kids, I love them the same.
Great, now I want pizza. Pepperoni, sausage, onion and green pepper please!

Well, I should specify a tomato pie from middle NJ ( Trenton area ) is thin crust. I think they are thick crust in Philly so it’s a regional thing.
Can be either round or rectangle but when you order for ‘catering’ it’s usually rectangle

We have been known to fight over that one odd triangle piece that is mostly crust except for the one bite of gooey cheese laden goodness. And I really don't know why we do.

Triangles only because the only pizza I want cut into squares is Valentinos pizza from Nebraska...and now I want Valentinos which makes me sad because we can't travel to NE to see family this Easter weekend (or pick up Runza or Amigos...but mostly I'm sad because we can't see family...and I'm hungry...)

I voted triangles but I was assuming a ROUND pizza. If it's a rectangle pizza then go ahead and cut into squares

Thin crust should be squares. I for one like the crispy edge pieces the best. Basically this. But it depends a bit on what's on your pizza and how thin is thin. Plain cheese is usually fine either way but the more toppings on your pizza, the more it should be squares. Otherwise gravity takes over on the triangle and half your toppings end up back in the box with no crust.

All round pizzas should be cut into triangles.
A square or rectangular pizza is cut into squares or rectangles.

Pizza can be cut different ways. I think it depends on the size and shape of the pizza you are dealing with.

See, I think a good thin crust should have toppings alllllllmost right to the very edge, and that edge should be just a teeeeeeeny bit burnt (or caramlized, I guess, if you're fancy like that). Then there's a good distribution of toppings on every piece. Plus you don't get that droopy long floppy wedge thing going on.

Square pieces remind me of that awful pizza we used to get in elementary school.
I like round pizza cut into triangles.

For me, it depends on who made the pizza and type. Thin crust has to be cut into squares out strips. This includes flatbread, certain frozen pizza, and a local pizza joint.

I vote triangles only.
I remember a long while ago a pea posted a photo of her round pizza cut into rectangles, and I was shocked! I had never even considered doing that, because the ratio of sauced pizza to crust would be uneven & unfair.

The pizza place I order thin crust from cuts it in squares. Drives me crazy because they are all different sizes so I dont know how to count the number of pieces for WW

I answered squares because I think you're asking about traditional/thin crust pizza. Deep dish should be slices.
But if you're from Chicago, you actually know that thin crust is best and party cut/tavern cut/square cut is the jam.

The pizza place I order thin crust from cuts it in squares. Drives me crazy because they are all different sizes so I dont know how to count the number of pieces for WW If you can calculate it for the full pizza (like, I might use a comparable pizza hut pizza), then just estimate what percentage of the pizza you ate and go from there. Like, if a small cheese pizza with six pieces is 6 points per slice, the whole pizza's 36ish. So if I eat about 1/4 of the pizza in squares, then it's 9 points. You don't need to be perfect, just tracking it at all is important! (Says the girl who will not be tracking her bacon cheese fries tonight.)

I'm not a huge fan of the squares but I'm not gonna turn down a pizza.
ETA: that being said, thin crust pizza is the worst pizza.
