I always have been good about purging. Since I'm not working these days I am simplifying my life and doing a major purge in the scrapbook room. Hello Goodwill. I'm saying goodbye to lots of chipboard, patterned paper and all the flowers. They've all been packed up and not used for a while so it's time to bid them farewell. I'm especially glad to get rid of the flowers.
What's the one thing in your stash you are ready to tell goodbye?

Older pattern paper that I know I'll NEVER use! Also some fibers, unfinished chipboard and a whole bag of old CM stuff that my daughter in law found for me. Her thoughts were good but it's a lot of older stuff from a rep that I'll never use.

I have several file folders of stickers-frames, swirlies, girly/BFF, and lots of "family", "traditions", etc that I've just never used....I like them but don't have coordinating paper, etc.
I need to donate them and move on....along with some old fibers and leftover/$1 spot embellishments.

I am determined not to hold on to things because i "might" make a card with it. Haha. Like I say, I usually am good about purging, but I guess it's been a while.

Maybe my flowers. I have lots and rarely use them anymore. I already purged all the chipboard.

I think it's time to finally say goodbye to the eyelets. Shows you how long I've been scrapping. I did use them occasionally when I was running ribbon through a page as a border but that was years ago.

I just tossed a ribbon holder into recycling which I bought about three or four years ago and hated using. It was missing some pieces and just taking up too much room. Even though I wanted to repair it I wanted the space back more. I'm ready to donate some books I've never even opened, as well as a few paper cutters. I have six and at least four of them have different functions, but I think I've only used three in the past six years.

Ribbons and chipboard! I have done a big purge of both, but we are cleaning out the garage and I keep coming across some I packed "for later," and I donated those to the thrift store, too!

Washi tape and some old stickers. I've been making some hard decisions about patterns that I'll never use. The good news is that my 3 year old loves playing with it so she's happy to have anything I'll give her.

I have two bins full off things to which I have said goodbye. Lots of patterned paper, stickers, albums, punches -- things that I haven't used, no longer like, or just plain never needed in the first place.
I'm going to try to sell first and then donate everything that's left.

Old SU stamp sets, a large rotary trimmer, old Cropper Hopper plastic organizing bins, and lots of older stickers and embellies I will probably never use. Thinking of trying to sell at a LSS yard sale.

Sold a cricut machine, stamps etc on ebay. Have made close to 400.00 so far....just getting started. I have a lot going to Good Will, and a church group too. Tired of having to move piles just so I can create something!

I filled a couple of boxes back in April with stamps, patterned paper, stickers, ribbon and etc. They were donated to a nursing home and to a special needs classroom that makes cards for a fundraiser. I still have so much more to go I just have to find the time to do it.

There is a pea on another thread about making vintage pages who is looking for flowers if anyone is in a RAK mood.
I am not really in a mood to get rid of pretty much anything. I am fearful I won't be able to get product in the future. I used to sell off stuff regularly but no more.

I have a hard time letting go of older product... I think "what if I need it some day?". But recently I went through my older product and gave a giant box to a friend's daughter. She loved it! And I got rid of a bunch of older epoxy/stickers/ribbons/fibers/paper that I will never use.

Printed chipboard from M's. No one wanted to buy it on my local facebook group. So, there it sits mocking me. I think I'm donating it to the thrift store this weekend. Just sold a bunch of 8x8 albums, so now I need to fill that space up right?

I have well over a decade of paper to get rid of. Remember ProvoCraft Slabs? I will say, they were AMAZING for me at the time, so much paper for such a good price (before the big boom when there weren't stacks and pads and stuff)... and I used the ever-loving heck out of them. But there were SO many pages I didn't use, especially from Slab IV and especially pink and purple (3 boys here)... that I've been holding on to for over 10 years! Why?

i really want to get rid of my naked chipboard. I have a whole drawer full of it and have never really got the "hang" of embellishing it.
I also want to get rid of our epoxy stickers. Most of them are yellowing so they'll probably just go in the TRASH...

Probably ribbon, brads and some older stamp pads I rarely use - I just need to get around to going through it. I usually go through a few things and then get bored with it and decide to craft instead

A few months ago I pitched a boatload of eyelets and felt good when they hit the bottom of the trash can. Ribbon is the next to go, although not in the same way. I'm moving it to my wrapping paper bucket and using it up on gift packages.

I intend to finally donate the box sitting behind the door in the walk-in-closet. It's been collecting supplies I'll never use from collection packs bought at Tuesday Morning over the past couple of years - select patterned papers, bulky/layered/themed embellishments, glitter Thickers, etc. Often I just liked the patterned paper, my weakness, but it was still less expensive to purchase the entire collection pack at TM than the papers by the sheet at my LSS (or the collection was never or no longer available at the LSS/big box stores).
For those purging your scrap space, please consider donating your unwanted & unbroken supplies. You gain precious storage space, while encouraging someone else's creativity. Some suggestions:
Daycare Preschool Church children's ministry Elementary school Middle/High school art class After school art program Boys/Girls Club Boy/Girl Scouts Children's home Children's hospital Ronald McDonald House Juvenile correction facility Women's prison Senior citizen center Goodwill Salvation Army

I did a huge patterned paper purge a year ago. That felt really good. Next on my list are punches and rubber stamps.

I got rid of a 4" stack of papers with embellishments, some fiskars punches, jars of flowers that used to sit on a shelf, some tattered angel chipboard, MM card and envelope template set, Technique Tuesday chipboard, 2 sets of Tim Holtz Grungeboard, some clear stamps and a lot of other things. It feels pretty good and I have room for more new product. I hope it is loved again by someone else.

Quick thought: it might be worth hanging onto the swirls and frames. If you have no co-ordinating stuff you can use these elements sticky side up by covering them with embossing powder or glitter, for e.g. to match your page; all you will need to do is apply adhesive on the now back side.
