It has been pretty cool to get a peek into other people’s personal spaces. I’m a little nosy, so it’s right up my alley.
I like the Architectural Digest tours of celeb homes on YouTube. It’s fascinating to see how other people live day to day. Or at least when it’s all cleaned up for cameras.

I haven't really been watching anything other than Netflix or Hulu and I haven't seen any celebrity houses other than Drake's, which Google was relentless in suggesting I view. Every day until I gave in.
His home looks like a modernistic hotel, not warm or welcoming at all, but the closet with Hermes Birkins just sitting on end tables near the couch waiting for "his future wife" really gave me a giggle.
I love Drake, he's a good guy who sometimes tries to play like he's hard in his music and I just want to tell him to stop and be himself. We all know you're a nice guy, Drake. You ain't making bodies turn cold, you're storing Birkins for that future special someone.
😁😁😁

I noticed on Zoom that one choice is to put a background on your image. Apparently no one does that.

I noticed on Zoom that one choice is to put a background on your image. Apparently no one does that. It's not always as easy as it looks - my computer is facing a wall with nothing on it, but the paint is beige/tan and when i try to add a background apparently my skin blends right in and I get a really freaky image all over my face and walls...

I’m mean, I kind of get it, because I am a celebrity. I am currently having to film myself at home, and my fans are getting a look inside my home. And my pet often interrupts me. My fans really like it.
BTW, my fans are 6.

I noticed on Zoom that one choice is to put a background on your image. Apparently no one does that. Really? Everyone I know does it. I have Zoomed from Paris, from the kitchen in Friends (Monica's apartment), The Office of course, and using stills from my actual living room when I feel like it is too messy to do live.

Found another fun take on the voyeurism of covid: "Still, we are getting closer in weird ways. The other day, while I ate lunch, I kept replaying a video of a friend softening butter in her palm. Without a steady stream of brunch photos, beach-vacation selfies, and horribly loud concert footage in which the singer is not even recognizable, platforms such as Instagram and Facebook have mutated into hyper-intimate scrapbooks of days spent cooped up inside. For workplaces that have gone online, videoconferencing software is giving co-workers who have never been in one another’s houses a look at the greasy hair and scattered coffee cups of “work from home.” “It’s great to see everyone’s bookshelves,” my boss said in greeting during a remote all-hands meeting last week. " www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2020/03/social-distancing-social-media-post-more/608194/Also, everyone take a shot. They wrote 'scrapbooks'!!

We've been enjoying watching Ellen from her comfy chair with Andy outside washing her windows lol There is an article just out on Vanity Fair about how upset her staff is regarding their pay and treatment. Conan and Jimmy Kimmel paid their staff out of pocket until things were figured out. Ellen's staff is getting reduced pay, and she hired a totally separate company to run her home operation.

Okay Montana people, where is kelly clarkston’s ranch?
I am thinking it is up toward flathead lake. But it does look like property that we were looking at , around wise river.

The NFL draft was interesting too because they showed a lot of the managers (or whoever they are) in their home offices, kitchens etc.

This is a crack, there’s another crack, that’s a stain on the ceiling... hahaha! It looks like a tour of my house (minus the neighbor’s blue car).

I was just thinking about this earlier as I was driving to the hospital for an appointment. Seeing them at home and without thier usual wardrobe & make up has been fun. I like the laid back unscripted parts too, pets, kids, spouses, etc. Rachel Ray's husband does her camera and he has been on her show a lot lately and its just refreshing to see that sort of thing sometimes even in this rough season.

That's kinda awesome but in a guilty way. I like that they rate the ones that are "real" vs. "stagey"

I noticed on Zoom that one choice is to put a background on your image. Apparently no one does that. Zoom won't let me unless I take the painting off the wall. It keeps telling me the wall has to be solid.

So. Much. Stuff. On. The. Countertops! That's the first thing that caught my eye! I just can't... This is what I notice on TV shows and movies and it drives me bonkers.
