I drink decaffeinated tea in the morning. I don’t like flavored or green teas. I love English Breakfast tea but they didn’t have it in stock for my last grocery order. The only decaffeinated tea the store had was British Blend. I don’t love it, and I had to get a huge box of it too so I’m stuck with it for a while. #priviledgedcoronavirusvent
What are you drinking this morning?

Ha Ha ! I opened this thinking it was about alcohol drinks. 😊. I’m thinking, do I have any orange juice to go with my asti ? Certainly a holiday to relax with a drink or two.

I drink decaf iced tea in the morning and water the rest of the day. I wish Twinings made larger decaf tea bags for iced tea.

Ha Ha ! I opened this thinking it was about alcohol drinks. 😊. Those are welcome too! I think I’ve only had an alcoholic drink outside of evening once in my life. I think it was an Easter brunch. I can’t drink alcohol ever without wanting to go straight to sleep. It’s no fun, so day drinking is definitely out.

I am not a fan of warm drinks (except occasionally hot chocolate), so no hot tea or coffee. But I love iced tea, so I drink that every morning. I love Sheetz iced tea (half unsweetened, half sweetened) and would get it every day. But a month ago I had to stop, so making it at home. Not the same, but still good!
Later I will have diet coke, my favorite!

Coffee! While everyone has been stocking up on canned food, TP, etc. I've been picking up two huge bags of my new favorite coffee at Sams.

We have a thing where some Sundays, I get one of those mini bottles of Brut and we split it in OJ.
Then he makes coffee - dark roast. He drinks his black, a holdover from his army days. I add a tsp of sugar and two little cups of creamer (the ones you see at diners). I can't have milk or heavy cream anymore it has to be non dairy creamer.

I also thought this was about morning drinking carried over from last night’s threads about drinking under the influence and was like man, people are really struggling! 😂 I’m glad that it appears we are discussing non booze drinks. It’s still 6am here so I am still in bed but when I do get up, I’ll make some nespresso and chill it a bit and then add coconut milk + starbucks Carmel macchiato creamer for an iced coffee which is my preferred drink.

Coffee, first of several cups, with a just a splash of half & half. I like the taste of coffee in my coffee. I stocked up on coffee before I did TP.

Coffee! I just ran out of creamer yesterday morning and had a grocery pickup scheduled for last night... just made it! I didn’t even think of tea when I did my last shopping trip a month ago (oh wow, almost exactly a month since I’ve been in a grocery store), there was just too much else to think of. And by the time I ran out of tea and placed a grocery order, I didn’t get it delivered for three days. My mornings were so sad. I remember how excited I was to make tea the first morning after those groceries were delivered. Like Christmas morning.

Haha this is not what I thought this thread was going to be about.
I had coffee this morning.
I thought seriously about having a mimosa while we watched mass. But, no orange juice.
ETA, I found orange juice! 😁🥂

Keurig coffee cup with almond milk creamer.
I need a better decaf coffee rec? Stuck with the keurig but when not lazy will use the French press which is 💯 better tasting.

Later I will have diet coke, my favorite! After drinking tea at home while getting ready in the morning, my routine was to get a fountain Diet Coke from McDonald’s on my drive to work. I have tried to kick that habit so many times (one of the reasons I drink decaffeinated tea). I had to go out on the weekends too. I couldn’t really tell if it was force of habit or an actual addiction to caffeine, but I would feel sleepy around 1:00 if I didn’t have Diet Coke on my way to work. Well, stay-at-home has helped me kick the caffeine addiction (OMG - serious headaches for a solid two weeks). It’s one of the things I hope to keep away from once I’m back to work again.

I had coffee, don’t know which coffee because my son made it for me but it was strong and flavorful. I also had a mimosa with our brunch . I usually cook for at least twenty people, now only four but it was very nice.

I'm on one of my kicks where coffee doesn't taste good to me, so I'm drinking Barry's Irish Breakfast Tea with (the horror!) heavy cream.

Would you like some British English breakfast tea? Pm me your address and I’ll post some although heaven knows when it’ll get to you 😀 Thank you! I truly didn’t know there were so many breakfast blends. I even thought, how different can this British Blend be from English Breakfast? I am such a creature of habit I don’t even look at other teas on the shelves. I’m just used to going straight for the box I know. I love your offer, but that would be a lot to send that to me. I’ll look for it here though and try it!

Mountain Dew, the orange kind. I can't remember the name. Plus a caffeine pill. I did not sleep much. When I'm being good I have iced green tea.

Good morning! I’m drink some Starbucks blonde roast that I made in my Chemex. Trying out the oat creamer from Nutpods. It’s not bad but I prefer the regular Nutpods creamer.

I was thinking it was morning drinking too- I was like, alas, a pea thread I can get on board with I have a patient at work who likes always tells me about her "champagne brunches". I'll ask how her morning was and she will say "Wonderful, I just came from a champagne brunch!" Man, I need a life full of champagne bunches. I like Tetley orange pekoe tea, or we make Indian Chai on the weekend. I don't make it as well as my mother-in-law apparently, but everyone still drinks it. I drink coffee here and there, it's more like a treat than a staple as it tends to give me indigestion if I have it too often.
