I have about 100 (or less) slides that I would like to print.
I am not the most tech savvy.
A few years ago, I took 5 slides to a local camera shop to get them printed. It was expensive.
What do I need to do this job at home?
Where is a reliable place to send the slides to get printed? Or, should I just ask around if anyone has a slide scanner to borrow? I don't expect to have any more slides to deal with in the future.
Thanks! Chris

My library has a machine that can scan slides and save on a thumb drive. Maybe yours has to same thing you can use when the library's open again?
I'm waiting for my sister-in-law to find some family slides so I can scan them.

I had over 3000 slides so I bought a slide scanner.
For less than 100? I would check the library, ask around and see if anyone has a slide scanner you can borrow....or I think teh Kodak photo Kiosks handle slides

Several years ago I took 3 racks of slides to Costco to have scanned. They do send them out if that is a concern.

If you only have c100 slides I wouldn't purchase a slide scanner alone. Either look for a scanner that also does photos and film or get them scanned professionally as that would probably be cheaper.

We have used this place a few times: linkThey clean up the slides or negatives for you and you can opt to delete up to 20% of the final product before shipping.

Well, sometimes things just work out!
DH found me a free HP scanner on Kijiji that does slides, negatives and photos. It works great, and I have started my scanning. I counted my slides, and I have 171 to do.
I am excited as there are some great childhood photos!
Thanks for the input.
