Your prompt today is very simple: sunshine and rainbows! Take that however you would like. It could be using a paper or stamp set showing a sun or rainbows or both, or doing an embellishment rainbow like I did, or something completely different prompted by those two words. I think we could all use a little color and happiness right now. I’ll show off this unfinished card that I challenged myself with. I had seen people do this on scrapbook pages and I had the perfect background paper, but I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off on a card. I had to do it in a slimline size to make it work with the big die cuts. I’m really happy with it, even though it isn’t quite done yet. I love your interpretation - very cheerful, such pretty colors and I love that you've layered the die cuts with patterned paper too. I didn't even know this was Jo's challenge. I had a migraine for 20 hours at the end of the week last week and took Friday off from work. I decided I wanted to make a bunch of cards for family and friends since I'm missing everyone so much and I couldn't get rainbows off my mind. Everything on my card was cut with my Cameo using various designs from the shop and drastically manipulating a Miss Kate's Cuttables rainbow file. Thanks for inviting me Jo!  |

azcrafty, of the first two, they are both adorable with that curved flower edge. I love the rhinestone centers. I like the one with the sun and clouds just a wee bit more. Your flower rainbow looks wonderful, too. The elongated, stitched hexagon behind the flowers really makes them pop.
nicolep, your card is very striking. I like the seagull over the sun, and the bold, big sentiment. The tall rainbow behind the bold sentiment really catches your eye.

Thanks for a fun challenge joblackford ! Everyone's cards are so fun, azcrafty , I was a little stuck on this challenge until I saw your card and thought, "Oh yeah! I have markers!" lol....I wanted to do more with the hearts, but was not sure what, so just glossed them over with a wink of stella and called it a day. I really like this sentiment, it was a freebie Unity sent me when I placed an order and I use it all the time! Edited to add, this card reminds me of Care Bears for some reason, lol...   |

@kendramage the card is delightful and I think it’s just the right amount of simple. Now that you mention is, yes, very Care Bears! Not that any of them are exactly like that, but the colors and hearts and rainbows... (I went down a Care Bear rabbit hole. These could be yours for less than $5000!) Whoa...that's a lot of...bear. They look super cute, all lined up like that! I think I had two...the Lucky one and the Grumpy rain cloud one. |

nicolep a love your big rainbow, I will have to see if I can make something like it. It's very cheerful. @kendramage I'm happy that I was able to help you. I use this trick on my Altenew layering flower dies. I love your heart card and I will have to make a few of them and send them out.
