Hi team players! I hope your April has been productive so far. Challenge #57 for this month, courtesy of grammadee, was to complete a challenge from somewhere other than 2 Peas. Here is a reminder of the challenge and the points you can get for it: #57 Grab it and RUN! Find a challenge somewhere other than at 2Peas. It could be posted by a LSS, a Blog, for a fb group, or by a manufacturer/kit club. *For ONE point: share the challenge with us by starting a new thread on our challenges board. *For FIVE points: take on the challenge you found and share your take with us on your thread. *For FIVE points: take on a grabbed challenge on someone ELSE's thread and share with us on THEIR thread.
I absolutely LOVE this challenge, because I am always looking for inspiration for my pages. It's like she posted it with me in mind! The digital sites where I purchase most of my products run monthly challenges, and the rewards for completing the challenges are free or discounted products. This month I plan to do at least 10 challenges. Rather than flooding the board with 10+ separate posts, grammadee agreed that I could create one thread with all of the challenges that I am completing from other sites. I hope that some of you are able to do some of these challenges. And I hope that some of you are able to post challenges of your own from other sites for me to do! (Sorry for the double up, I have already posted the following layouts on the April sharing thread.)

My first challenge is a Template Challenge from The Lilypad. I guess traditional scrappers, who won’t be using the template, can use it as a sketch instead.
Here is my example:

My next challenge is a photography challenge from The Lilypad. The challenge is to capture an image that represents something in your life that has changed. Obviously a lot of people chose to photograph something COVID related, but there are others who were keen to avoid that subject and used photos of a new hairstyle or home renovations etc. Here is my example:

The next challenge is a Style Challenge from The Lilypad. The idea is to focus on something or someone in a photo, and cut or crop that image and use it a second time somewhere on the page. This one is a lot easier for digital scrappers to do, and might prove difficult for traditional scrappers, unless you use photo editing software and print your own photos as home. Here is my example:

The next challenge is a random challenge about staying connected. How are you maintaining and advancing your relationships in these crazy days? Who is it important for you to connect with? Are you using technology or reverting to snail mail? There are no other parameters here - your page can have photos or not, lots of journaling or a little, be any style you like. Just create a page with the theme of staying connected. Here is my LO:

My next challenge is a journaling challenge at The Lilypad. The topic of conversation everywhere seems to be our current international crisis and how it is affecting each and every one of us. So this month, our Journaling Challenge is documenting Life Right Now.
Now if talking about the current situation isn't your cup of tea, you can interpret this challenge to be talking about any moment in your history where things were a little different. Perhaps you went through a busy sports season with your kids keeping you occupied at every waking moment. Or perhaps you went through a period of time where you cared for elderly parents. Or maybe you remember the sleepless nights when you had a brand new baby or puppy in the house.
The rules are simple. - Your title must be "Life Right Now" - Journal about a moment in time - Use 200 words or moreHere is my example:

Colour me impressed! You used the inspirations really well! I'm good with any sketch or scraplift challenge that gets thrown my way, but the moment someone says "your next layout will be about this topic" I freeze up. It's because my photos are not available on my computer at present - my laptop died, and my photos are backed up but not searchable and easy to find like they were in my computer files. And I haven't even uploaded/editted recent photos...sigh... it's a big job only getting bigger as days go on...
OK, I just hyjacked you lovely thread! Your layouts are awesome!!!
