I , for one, am tired of lunch but husband is home and must be fed every 10 minutes. Not really exaggerating here. Usually I box up leftovers from dinner and he gets that, but I am trying to make those leftovers into another dinner, so I am Trying not to use those for lunch, so we don’t get tired of having the same food at every meal.
Today’s lunch:
The zucchini patties from Sunday and lentils with garlic oil.
What did you have for lunch?

DH fends for himself for lunch. He pulled some soup from the freezer that he made last week. I finished off the last bit of spaghetti sauce over a few cheese tortellini.

Leftover Easter ham, and green beans. So glad that my dh and dd are capable of fending for themselves.

We all basically skip breakfast and then I’ve been trying to make a nice lunch for everyone - today I made chicken pot pie.

I am so confused. Did you mean April 14th? If not, is this a thing that I missed all along?

I had tuna on an english muffin. DH had leftover steak on a sandwich with cucumbers on the side. DS had a rotisserie chicken sandwich. We each made our own. Everyone had cara cara orange with it.
I'm cooking chicken fajitas for dinner.

I have just decided that I no longer lunch.
Just, generally opposed to lunch in general, and possibly forever more.
I will heat up left over pizza or make toast for the 5 year old but everyone else can figure it out themselves.

I decided to reverse lunch and dinner today and cooked one of my Hello Fresh meals (beef tostadas) so I can jump in a 6 pm Zoom Zumba class and not have to think about cooking dinner.

I had cheese and crackers for lunch and a fruit cup. Not sure what the others ate, in our house, you are on your own for breakfast and lunch.

My husband is still going to work every day so he usually takes the leftovers from the night before for his lunch. Generally, I do the intermittent fasting thing and skip breakfast usually not eating until lunch. And lunch for just me is often a handful of this or that. But right now, my mama is staying with us and I feel like I have to feed her better. (For a 94 y/o woman, she has a healthy appetite!) So I'm making breakfast and lunch for us and the 18 y/o son when he's out of bed in time. Lol.
I can't wait until mama returns home, the youngest is back at school, and I get my quiet little daytime routine back to myself. Just kidding - I love them. Well, no not really kidding. I'd like my days back.
--- Edited because I forgot to say what we ate. Mama and I had toasted slices of some banana bread I made for breakfast. Lunch for everyone - at work or at home - was leftovers from last night's one-pot meal of sausage, cabbage, and cannellini beans.

The title was really throwing me. 😂 Dh warmed up chicken fajitas from last night. I was planning on a salad for myself but then decided we’d have salad for dinner and didn’t want that twice in one day so I ended up with fajitas, too. Although I topped my lunch off with 2 balls of frozen chocolate chip cookie dough I made on Easter from the freezer. I like cookie dough better than the actual cookies.

I had a piece of Angel Food Cake with 7 minute white frosting I want to have lunch at your house! I had a blueberry Chobani (my least favorite flavor, and now there are still five of them in the fridge because no one else will eat them either), a fruit cocktail cup and a big soft pretzel with cream cheese. I should have made some egg salad to make into a sandwich but I was too lazy. ETA: March 44th, bahahahahaha!!!!!

The title made me chuckle too because there have been at least eleventy-fourteen days in March so far. I'm not in April yet either!
I've been making veg soup for lunch most days. Today we had garlic, carrot and celeriac, mmm. Yesterday was from a pumpkin that had no flavour whatsoever - it was so strange. Tomorrow I'm doing lentil, onion, tomato and paprika.
