I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a hand full of chips and homemade cc cookie. My husband is an adult and perfectly capable of making his own lunch. Some days I may make tuna or grilled cheese for us.
The husband has been great about not snacking during the day except for some nuts. He rarely asks me to make his lunch. I’ll check to see if needs/wants a snack ( type 2 diabetes).

I’ve been eating 2 meals a day and a light snack in the evening. I got in that habit because that was how my mom ate when she lived with me. This morning I had a piece of quiche from the whole quiche that I bought at Costco. It is egg and cheese. I have some pork shoulder in the instant pot for shredded pork and will probably just have that and some green beans for dinner.
I’ve been eating the salads from Costco and adding some of the rotisserie chicken, but I wanted to get this pork cooked up, shredded, and into the freezer for future meals so I may as well eat some for dinner. I’m too tired to make anything else to go with it. It is going to be a stretch to get the green beans steamed.

When DH retired 13 years ago, I told him I married him for better or worse...but not for lunch. He is on his own.

I am so confused. Did you mean April 14th? If not, is this a thing that I missed all along? I edited it to the correct day

I had a Lebanon bologna sandwich and a salad. Son scrambled some eggs. Where do you buy Lebanon bologna? I've been on the lookout for it since I saw Mike Rowe do a Dirty Jobs episode at a place in PA that makes it. It reminded me of how I loved it as a kid but I can't find it!

We don't really do lunch. We don't eat immediately upon getting up either, but around 10:00ish, we will eat something we scrounge around in the fridge for, make avocado toast, bowl of cereal, a cookie or anything that just might strike our fancy. We fend for ourselves, but dinner is always made and basically eaten as a family.
