I'm pretty sure our fridge is dying a slow death. The last time I looked at fridges was July 2019 when we were contemplating getting new appliances to replace the old ones.
Chances are that we will just have to order one online, I have asthma and have had pneumonia twice and don't really want to go look at refrigerators right now.
What kind of fridge do you have and do you like it? Any help is greatly appreciated.

No help as far as kind, but be prepared to have to wait on one. They are another item people have hoarded. Buying extra fridge and freezers to stockpile groceries.

We love our LG fridge. French door, bottom freezer, no in-door water/ice dispenser , but ice maker in the freezer, and the right door is a coldsaver door

I have an LG that is about 13 or 14 years old. I had to have something in the freezer fixed, and the repair man told me to stick with LG because in his experience, they last the longest.

Our 6.5 year old Kitchenaid fridge died last summer and we replaced it with an LG French Door. We really like the quality of it as well as the ergonomics. They make a version without the InstaView door. While it is nice to have, I could live without it.

Thanks, everyone! Hubby thinks the fridge is doing OK, but I'm going to start researching online just in case.

My refrigerator broke and I was going to buy a new one but they had a 4-6 week wait on the ones that fit my space. Like someone mentioned- people are hoarding fridges and freezers, too. I ended up getting it fixed but it took 2 weeks for the part to come in.

We have a Samsung french door refrigerator. I love the layout and it keeps food cold, but it is a bear to clean. I literally have to watch a you tube video every time I need to remove the shelves to clean them. We have a side by side Whirlpool (about ten years old) at our lake house where we are currently sheltering in place. I cleaned it the other day. It was a breeze.
The next time I buy a refrigerator I am going to google videos about cleaning the refrigerator to see how easy it is.

I have this one from kitchenaid. I really like it, but we did have to have the ice maker fixed already and it is only 3.5 years old. Although that my have something to do with us rather than the fridge

I just had to replace mine 2 months ago. Just a word of caution be sure to measure your space. My father custom built my house( was my parent's before they pasted) and of course built the refrigerator space custom for the refrigerator he purchased. The size of refrigerators has greatly changed in the 32 years since this house was built. I had a hard time finding one for the spot and finally had to make a choice and it wasn't exactly what I wanted.

We have had more than one Whirlpool and like them. Currently we have a French Door with freezer on the bottom model.
