Saw the movie when it came out in 1961. Sobbed like a baby at the end. Went again the next night and saw it again. Sobbed again. My sister and I bought our dad the album for his birthday. Lucky him.  I still have the album. |

Our high school did this when I was in Grade 9. I was in the costume department.
Still one of my favourites!

My friend’s daughter was in the cast for this in HS. The teacher doesn’t cut anyone and the productions and cast was big. 250 student big. It was something to see.
